Generally there's anywhere from 100-200 people online, excluding vendors. I know at least 1/4 of the people save in different towns other than Prontera, so don't be surprised if you see Prontera empty sometimes. XD
And um, custom dyeing? Not sure what you mean, but you mean dyeing equipment, or creating dyestuffs?

Palettes.
Styla in Pront will change your clothing and hair colors for free.
However, if you want any hairstyles other than the default ones, then there is a miniquest for a coupon.

and 5/5/3 is 500% compared to 1x, but really it's still enjoyable imho
