..well, the broadcasts aren't that bad, what's worse are the BG freaks spamming main with stuff along the lines of "COME ON PEOPLE JOIN BG WE NEED X MORE PEOPLE COME ON"

Cant be worse than the spam of congrats when somebody transcends. Also I voted to keep BG broadcasts because it sometimes skips my mind and its really convenient to get the message. Kind of sad that people get annoyed by two lines of text. May as well get rid of WoE spam, Muspel spam and Thanatos spam as well if BG is that annoying to others <_>

Well yes I think the broadcasts are fine. Plus the cyan font color is not very noticeable among the drop info.. so its fine. I had an account on EsunaRO and the very annoying thing about their broadcasts were that they were in bright yellow every 10 minutes for each and every one of their many many many automatic events(none of which I tried).
Plus yea its a good reminder for (casual)players to go get their butts whooped xD.

Imo, keep the broadcasts how they are now. It's not too annoying. If anything, it's more annoying to have everyone whine about how nobody else *wants* to BG when they're short by one person. Ohai useless in woe redux builds...
Another suggestion for things to change about BG...
When there's an odd number of people signed up for BG it randomly outs someone... should out the last person to sign up in that situation, their fault for not getting there soon enough.
The gratz spam never bothers me, as transing (especially for your first char if it's not a sniper and you play like a normal person and not obsessively) takes quite a bit of work, and deserves even insincere congratulatory remarks.
That and we've had the option to not broadcast back when my prof trans'd in like April or May O_o

Personally. I think the reminder should be global, assuming people care about BG, they'd be in town gearing up??and/or moving to izlude for it.??The start of BG should be broadcasted in towns.
I don't think anyone outside of the participants really care about the results of BG, I honestly wouldn't mind seeing that broadcast stripped altogether.
also, would it be possible to get a color change so I don't think someone's trying to spam @duel at me? Maybe a Party orange or pink?

Anything Before the Fight, Global
Anything after, Izlude Only
Usually when people do BG, the entrence turns into a "chat-loby" before and after. Realisticly no one outside of that "chat-loby" Or Izlude for that matter, need to really know of results or even care about them and thats why i say before fight broadcasts, global- After fight broadcasts, Izlude only.
