if what you are saying is true, perhaps it isnt broken. 5-10 seconds is a pretty long time to have effects such as halved attack power and accuracy and defence. Considering most fights last no longer than 30 seconds unless it is against someone with heal. I'd have to test it myself though, and who knows when a time will come when that is possible.
I did say "My interpretation of a lancer". I am not telling others what to think, just my opinion. I feel like I've made a build I'm happy with going by these same ideas, and that others could possibly benifit from it without copying me. I'm glad to have anyone help me make it worth reading. I'll be working on it again soon to edit the last two thirds hopefully. I will turn Lord knight whenever the next SVN is added. Chances are if there IS a glitch with the LK skills it'll be fixed then. I'd like to test it myself, but as of now, rumor has it that they are both broken, or not working at full capacity, when they should.
If I cant improve my character by leveling I guess I'll have to endlessly seek out cards

so does 1 handed sword mastery accually help with spear attack later? or does it only make lvling easier before advancing to knight?

1 handed sword mastery is taken just to unlock 2 handed sword mastery, otherwise it as 0 effect upon spear. You'd normally take it at lvl 1 when your LK for the purpose of 2 handed sword skills.

Should point this out: There are other options for low levels, such as Spores 1E of Payon, then once you get some SP and Strawberries, swap to Wolves 2S of Payon and Mag Break wolves.
