actualy , unlike all of those who posted here, I didnt liked this anime.
-first they are completly out of the alchemy context
-they completely enhenced the power of the pjilosopher stone(somehow all the animes about it did that for stupid reasons ...)
-graphisme are so-so
-way too many episodes.
-wow...wtf are those vilains ...
anway in my opinon, not a must see, but i guess its interesting .

EDIT:: ok you are right, not a must see, but sadly i am also a mecha otaku, and yes i actually do think FMA is a must see, but from a less fandom-ism i would say it is a great anime nonetheless. (this shouldve been a reply to silv's post, but meh.)

A bit on-topic, I would highly recommend FMA. Even though I despise the ending revelation, the themes and concepts explored throughout are very interesting. And even the end wasn't that bad, if they hadn't interpreted it in such an asinine way I'd wholly approve. If you haven't watched this series, do consider it.
