i dont even know why i didnt try to ask for help sooner but everytime i try to play ro my comp always crashes/shutsdown for every 5-15 mins . it has been happening for a very long long time and i think thats why i took a break from playing. i tried deleting and reinstalling all the files but the result is still the same . it also shuts down by just surfing through the net .
is it possible to fix it?....manually
or
i need professional to do it? 0_0

That pretty much falls outside of RO, but I can try to help with my meager knowledge. Can you tell me the stats of your computer?
Right-click on 'My Computer' and select properties, you should have a bunch of information right there.
Also, make sure your disk is not full or near full (click on My Computer to enter it, then right click on your main disk (usually C
go into properties, do you have a lot of disk space available?Have you done a defrag lately?

Sounds like you have a virus. Since your computer is shutting down from just being on the internet I would suggest doing a virus scan, and if you don't have any anti-virus software, you should install some and hope it's not too late to save your computer.

Install a Anti-virus software, or use an web one, like:
http://www.kaspersky.com/virusscanner
or
http://security.symantec.com/sscv6/default.asp?langid=ie&venid=sym
So u can be sure if its a virus or not.

Overheating, Bad Power Supply. Bad Memory Module. Sorry but it is most likely not a virus.
Clean the dust from inside your computer. Please don't do this without a manual. I made that mistake, it isn't fun.
Try changing outlets. Maybe your computer is plugged in with many other things. I once had this problem when my computer was plugged into the same connector as my air conditioner.
You can try the adware remover but don't expect this to fix it.

gm-pand, here are my comp's stats
: xp
home editionversion 2002
service pack 2
pentium 4 cpu 3.06ghz
3.07ghz 504 mb of ram
and there's about 86.4 gb left in the disk space
sorry, but i have no idea what a defrag is.....
is it possible that there might have been a virus with files when i downloaded hero back then because i remember the shutdowns started when i was just playing ro
im pretty sure i downloaded some anti-virus files but it still didnt work. i'll just download the file kojiro mentioned anyway
maybe cleaning the dust inside the cpu like yetipunk suggested might work but god knows where the manual is...
maybe i ust need a new computer T_T

The reason I asked the specs is to make sure your computer can run RO, and it's far beyond requirement, a 3.06ghz is really good!
Defragmentation is recommended. If you think it's something you installed that caused this there is a feature in windows to sorta "go back in time" in the installations you made.
I'll post further on this when I have some time, sorry gotta go ^_^
