Depends. I've no clue what it depends on, but it depends.
I've gone with about four-five hours of sleep a day for a week at points, and at other times, I've slept for 12 hours for a couple days in a row.
It's as if my sleeping schedule gets thrown in a clothes washer and put on spin.

blah i try to sleep evryday at least 8 hours but shit it never comes true...
i always sleep less than 7 hours and well my body cant take so litle time of sleep if i think how much i use energy evryday in all kind of shit...
im evry morning like zombie ugh

If it's quiet, I can get the sleep I need. Usually my house & street where I live is loud so it takes a while to doze off..

Hm, I can go on for like... 3 months sleeping 2 hours a day xDDD
so I don't know LOL!
And I'm a good student and all I just sleep when... It's classes that the teachers hate me, so I prefer to not bother anyone xDDD!
But... I have no need to rest, although I LOVE to sleep o.o, it's one of my favorite things to do xDDD, maybe because I don't need it =]

I used to have insomnia as well, then I started having some weird massages and talking to a shrink and that did it \o\
