RE: Nando and Kazuya? - Logester - 12-09-2008 Both those two listed IPs are in Palm City, Florida. Furthermore, it's not hard to change your IP address with your router. QQ harder. RE:??Nando and Kazuya? - Général_Argos - 12-09-2008 Logester Wrote:Both those two listed IPs are in Palm City, Florida. But the ISP name is "COMITE GESTOR DA INTERNET NO BRASIL", wich translates by "COMMITTEE OF INTERNET MANAGER IN BRAZIL".??:0 Logester Wrote:Furthermore, it's not hard to change your IP address with your router. But the new IP will always be in the same range, wich range is easy to get, and also the ISP will remain the same.?? RE: Nando and Kazuya? - teOx - 12-09-2008 i think he got hacked RE: ??Nando and Kazuya? - Ellie - 12-10-2008 G?n?ral_Argos Wrote:Logester Wrote:Furthermore, it's not hard to change your IP address with your router. But the new IP will always be in the same range, wich range is easy to get, and also the ISP will remain the same.?? Not hard to find an unprotected wireless signal. Then, you'll still have the same area IP, but not the ISP. RE: Nando and Kazuya? - GM-Pandora - 12-10-2008 Logester: not sure what you use to check IP but might wanna change, since both IP are in Brazil. ISP Tele Norte Leste Participa??es S.A. Host 189105168215.user.veloxzone.com.br Location BR BR, Brazil City Salvador, 05 - I doubt it's a hack, either it's himself or at worse a case of giving password to untrustworthy people. RE: Nando and Kazuya? - Logester - 12-10-2008 I overlooked what Krim pointed out. http://www.ip2location.com/free.asp That's the site I used. Additionally, as a forum mod, can't you see all the IPs that everyone posts from? I know they displayed on some forum set ups. So... does the offending IP match the one Nando is posting from? RE: Nando and Kazuya? - Général_Argos - 12-10-2008 Lol, basic checks Pandora probably already made.??But yea, that is the site I used too (along with www.coolwhois.com), but Pandora's one is more accurate; bookmarked it :3 RE: Nando and Kazuya? - Logester - 12-10-2008 Well what the Server Host gave, the admin attempted log-ins, and then his account log in on the same IP would be enough for me if I were Pandora; I wouldn't bother checking IP addresses on postings straight out at first. I have admin powers on the forum for a guild I co-lead from another server; I can see IPs, but I never look at them. Ever. RE: Nando and Kazuya? - Général_Argos - 12-10-2008 If the ip used to attack is the same as the one used by the person to log in the forum for 3 years without any change, you can know for sure its coming from that person; but beware the opposite is not true. RE: Nando and Kazuya? - GM-Pandora - 12-11-2008 Nando has a post count of 7, so not like he's very active. No posting from the offending IP, but that doesn't prove much. All forum post are with IP within the range, same ISP. |
