imho, prices of things going down is a good sign
Sadly, heRO's economy is going into dual curve scenario... instead of one bell curve type for representation of price vs rarity where all items either go up or down together... generally speaking, higher end items is only going higher and higher yet the lower end items are going down. Personally, I would prefer it if all items are lower, but guess because RO itself has no built-in zeny sink while heRO's own zeny sink only works on selective groups, this kind of problem results...
We do have somewhat of a new plan to adjust a few problems first, but don't expect overnight miracles.

I've always assumed high end items tend to keep going up cause of one, or maybe you can put it into two reasons...
1. Farmers: Not a lot of people just go out of their way to look for this stuff. Green Ferus cards-how many people you see going to Abyss 1 for that? Wool Scarf/Tidal Farming-most rather go grindin' in Nameless 3 for example.
2. Good stuff stays in the guild: Simple enough, most items that a person finds of any worth will try to keep trades within guilds. We're all too bothered about sellin' it outside (I'm horribly guilty of this too).
Thus when someone breaks these standard rules *happens to be a farmer and doesn't mind sellin' good stuff outside their guild* we have people willing to pay tons to make sure others will not grab it :]

I usually offer to the guild first, but being an un-WoE and not very PvP-ish, social, full of relatively new people, I sell outside.

Now I just need to get to gypsy so the farming is more downpat. :<

anyway, on topic sorta i guess, since really the main question was answered, start throwing around some suggestions as to what we could do for zeny sinks, on top of what is planned so far so that way the T&D team can get started brainstorming.
