RE: The parts in video games/movies that made you burst into tears. - Whispers - 08-06-2009 I refuse to cry.??The display of emotion was always been shunned in my family. However, there are a lot of movies out there that I could see as bringing tears to a normal person's eyes.??I thought Kung Fu Hustle was really sweet when the protagonists hold up the deaf vendor girl. She recognizes guy and holds up a lollipop.??Guy realizes she was the deaf girl from his childhood who was being bullied by a group of older boys trying to steal said lolly (she kept it all these years).??He tried to save her using his special Buddha Palm technique but failed and got beat up and peed on.??The deaf girl tried to thank him, but he was so ashamed he pushed her away, breaking the lollipop, and ran off.??She then went home and reassembled the lollipop and kept it all those years.??I thought that was a really delightful sequence.??=3 That's one of the reasons it's my favorite movie.?? As for me, a few I can think of right now: -the end of FF9 made me cry ( its my favorite FF game thus far) -the end of that movie A.I. with Haley Joel Osment as the robot kid, you know, the part when he (highlight to see spoiler) revives his mom for one last day just to be with her because he loves her so much -Pan's Labyrinth (that movie is so sad but gooooood ) RE: The parts in video games/movies that made you burst into tears. - GM-Pandora - 08-28-2009 mahawirasd Wrote:grave of the fireflies.Me too and Pom Poko as well.
