Ew Brave Fencer Musashi 2 was awful awful for a PS2 Adventure game. The first one however is very entertaining and fun.
I recommend also the original Ape Escape for the PS1. It got a remake on the PSP but you don't got one of those.

I remember Shining Force Neo, that was a pretty fun game but the story was god awful! I wish they would make another SF game like the original 2 (and don't you dare count Shining in the Darkness its not what you think of when you think Shining Force).

You're right, but it was a funnish fighting system. Its the only thing I'd really recommend it over. The first was far better in every aspect, besides maybe graphics...and I still preferred them at the time that I played them.

Another set of ps2 games- Dark cloud, and Dark Cloud 2. Pretty unique games, and very enjoyable.

I didn't know anyone else knew Ape Escape even existed, its an epic game, Monkeys = win every time

Fixed. Indigo Prophecy (aka Fahrenheit) was not a prequel to Heavy Rain.

Thanks for the correction : )

It took me at least 2 years to finally get a copy of it, i just saw one hanging in the shelves a few months ago and I had to buy it d;

Dark Cloud 1 has not aged well, however I heard the second one has done pretty good on the aging. ^-^

Also if you can get your hands on it, the Final Fantasy Chronicles and Anthology from the PS1 days its alright, though some of the load times on Chrono Trigger and on Final Fantasy 6 could drive you insane. However if you want some emulated classics its a good place to start. \o/

You didn't think you'd get away with that completely right???How about one of the best instead of just "the" best.

If you don't mind jumping back into the PS1 bracket;

Tales of Destiny
Final Fantasy 9
Breath of Fire 4

Edit:
How do you feel about Tactical RPGs? Because there are half a dozen excellent ones for the DS/GBA.

Moot point really for BoF3 to BoF4. Unless you get really lucky, both of those games go for a price well above 2 other good rpgs.

But yea, if Final Fantasy Tactics is a great, very complex game. It might take a little bit to learn, but it is well worth the time spent.

Just do not do like my childhood self, and hate all the classes my main character could be, and play as a Squire throughout the entire thing.
