My Opinion:
Advantage:
1.Can defend better (Best Emp breakers become the high priority)
2. Be known as a famous Emp Killer (people will be amazed by your almighty skills)
3. Increase new crecruits to join (If you take down the Emp and your name always appear, of course people will flock to the guild)
Disadvantage:
1.Attacking castles harder (Since they know your best Emp breaker)
2.Get spammed by hate messages (Since you always take down the Emp of opposing guild)
3.Noob target (You will become a special prey for noobs to ask for items of money)
(^*-*)^ No difference at all that can affect it that drastically since this advantages and disadvantages equal out the good and bad.

You aren't making sense, I may or may not agree with Triple J's opinion but he's speaking from what he knows/sees just like anyone else here.

The only statement you gave for supporting this feature is a counter-argument on the ego thing.
Pros:
*Bragging rights (believe me this is the biggest thing)
and yeah thats about it...uhh...
*People know who broke the EMP? Though if they were mediocre defenders or better they should know anyways... so not a real pt. Defenders should at least have to be competent in WoE to see who the attackers are, if you need the names handed to you on a plate you should get a F in WoE'ing.
Cons:
*Retards bragging (lololol I broke the emp 5 times 2day wut did u do mr clown? NOTHING LOLOLOLOLOL)
*Waste of GM time
So the pros are... cons at best. And the cons are lacking but there are some. Overall this is a bad idea simply because there's no reason to, and it's a waste of time.

When the stupid people failed to notice how the other classes basically gave the breaker a path to the emp, the stupid person would probably get booted from the killed, regardless of how good of a breaker he/she is.
I've seen it a few times on this server, except without the kicking from the guild. And, as other people have said, other people may appear as if they broke the emp, because if I remember correctly it registers the last hit as the breaker.

Explain, your not going to WoE, so it won't affect you. You said it yourself, that you don't like the way WoE is. So why are you commenting about this?

Probably because they can. Just like Aaron said this is a public forum they can say w/e even if they don't do it (NOW)
And honestly, what Ardney said before, about having the announcement being local, is a pretty good Idea.

Because WoE politics effect community politics to some extent actually.
Why do you think some of the more social based guilds sometimes share support with a WoE guild? Ah well this is hitting on another topic sadly that I would rather not get into atm.

I'm against this feature. Let's face it, breakers know who they are, and the serious one's don't want it spread more than it already is. And whether they hit the emp last or not doesn't really matter, it's rarely a solo effort. They get to the emp because of the guild that backs them. So the credit should go to the guild, and currently it does.
Also, lets face it. There's a ton of more important things that need to be added or fix on the server. The GM's don't have all the time in the world, so we should just let them focus on more important things.
I say if anyone really wants to brag or feel good about what they've done, try holding a castle for WoE. It's much harder than breaking one.
