2016/Dec/18 - GM-Ciar - 12-18-2016

Not a patch per se, but worthy of mention:

Monster Changes


Satan Morroc: Its custom version was added in 2009 due to certain skills (Wide Soul Drain, Wide Hell Dignity, etc) not functioning properly. Since then, the skills work as intended, and as such, Satan Morroc has been reverted to its official version.
  • Quest Morroc has its original skillset, 8M HP, and no longer drops gear.
  • Wounded Morroc also has its original skills and 8M HP, and has all drops at 100%.


Flooded Yggdrasil Root:
  • Kushiel's HP reduced from 4M to 2.5M
  • Kushiel now drops Staff of Light (15%), Dreamstone Charm (15%)
  • Aztoe Nail drop increased to 4.50% from 3%
  • Dreamstone's status chaining altered to not cause them all consecutively. Also, fixed the eternal Wide Bleeding spam.
  • Dreamstone Golem no longer uses Meltdown. Other skills saw slight decrease in frequency and chance to cast.


Tendrilrion:
  • Eraser and Death Guidance drop rate increased from 3% to 4.50%
  • Hillsrion summon's usage of endure on the player was corrected. It now uses endure on itself.


Scaraba Hole: All mobs have a change in HP, strength, and defenses, see below for more info.
  • All non-MVP scarabas' HP were reduced by approximately 10,000.
  • Their DEF and MDEF were lowered slightly.
  • Their attack speed and animation delay were tweaked to decease the attack/delay issue (the one Dark Lord and Dark Illusion are well known for).
  • Scarabas' Lv 5 defender was reduced to Level 1 and only usable after being hit with either double strafe or sharpshooting.
  • Rake and Antler Scarabas no longer use bleeding attack.
  • Scaraba Eggs' transformation chance was reduced drastically.
  • Scaraba Queen's HP was reduced to the official version (2,441,600 HP).
  • Their exp was decreased slightly in proportion to their reduction in difficulty.


Kraken: The MVP in Byalan's 6th floor (iz_dun05) has had several, mostly minor tweaks. No, it's reactions to asura strike weren't removed.
  • HP has been lowered from 10 Mil to 5 Mil.
  • The MVP received a general skill tweak, where the "Any" state was changed to Attack/Chase.
  • The fleeing skills NPC Run and Taekwon Run were removed from it
  • Body Relocation's frequency was lowered.
  • Hunting Spear was removed from its drops and Book of Billows [3] was added.


Fairies' Paradise:
  • Garden Keepers no longer run away when their HP is below 99%. This was an official change that was reverted back to its custom version.


Repeat Spellweaving: Skills such as Multi-Thunderstorm and Multi-Heaven's Drive, as named by GM-Ayu (I think it was her, at least), no longer work in the way they were intended to, in the sense that it doesn't seem possible to cast the skill twice in a row like before. Due to this, some MVP skills have been modified.
  • Tendrilrion will increase the frequency of casting Thunderstorm when its HP drops below 50%.
  • Hardrock Mammoth will increase the frequency of casting Heaven's Drive when its HP drops below 50%.
  • Kraken's Heaven's Drive will have a delay of 5 seconds, and Wall of Fog will have a delay of 8 seconds.
  • Kushiel's frequency of casting Thunderstorm and Heaven's Drive have been increased.


Warzone:
  • Added Hypnotize and Medjai mobs to the database. However, they won't start spawning until next reboot
  • Champions' frilldora-ish cloak skill was removed, and now cast dangerous soul collect and critical explosion before using asura strike. Said skill also received an increase in cast time.
  • Creators' Twilight Pharmacy was removed, and Acid Demonstration Cast Time was increased slightly.
  • Whitesmiths' Throw Tomahawk skill was removed.
  • All player mobs were changed to neutral 1, and their attacks lowered to resemble real players' attacks.
  • Mobs now have a standardized set of drops: Witched Starsand (15%), Blank Card (12%), Light White and Light Blue Potion (3%), an item or resource relating to their class or skill usage (IE: Blue Gem, Poison Bottle, Anodyne, Aloe Leaflet, etc), a "bubble" hat (BF/GF Hat, Guild/Party/Friend Recruitment Hats), a piece of gear, and a card.
  • All mobs no longer cast skills when in "idle" state.
  • All skill chances to cast were redone where necessary, some being increased and others being lowered.
  • Rowdy Day's HP, exp, stats and drops were changed to match the other mobs and be in proportion to their difficulty.
  • Slick's Shadow and ChaosPrince's weapon sprite were changed to katars.
  • Nagato.Yuki's attack was increased slightly.
  • Vaethlain's INT was lowered from 140 to 120.
  • Rowdy Day now casts Lex Divina at a low rate.
  • Adrillf's chance to use cobweb has been lowered, and Wall of Fog no longer has a cast time.
  • iPistis no longer uses Full Chemical Protection, Acid Demonstration's chance was lowered but increased from level 5 to 10.
  • Slick's Shadow and ChaosPrince use Enchant Deadly Poison when attacking instead of idle, and it no longer has a cast time.
  • Kittie- now summons a Vanilmirth on spawn, which uses caprice level 5 and heal.
  • Beauty's cast time of scream has been removed, tarot's cast time has been slightly increased.
  • Leofer now uses safety wall when physically attacked instead of when hit by asura, spell breaker when targetted, and Hell Judgement Lv 1 at .50% chance when attacking.
  • Nagato.Yuki uses heal when attacking instead of idle, and assumptio whenever it runs out, instead of every 1 minute.
  • Matinee idoL now uses dangerous soul collect and critical explosion before casting asura. It now heals itself when its HP is below 75%.
  • Il clone di Paccone no longer uses weapon perfection, and now uses maximize power and adrenaline rush whenever it runs out, instead of every 30 seconds.
  • Seraph of Pain now uses dangerous soul collect and critical explosion before casting asura. It now uses palm strike and heals itself when its HP is below 50%.
  • Xandra no longer uses sight, ice wall or ganbantein. Storm Gust's delay was reduced slightly, and now casts waterball if it's on a deluge.
  • Mupfelsan25 uses autoguard and reflect shield whenever it runs out, instead of every few minutes.
  • Romani no longer uses arrow shower, and double strafe's frequency was increased.
  • Eissan's Arrow Vulcan frequency was increased, and uses attention concentrate when it runs out, instead of every few minutes.
  • Namreg uses adrenaline rush instead of full adrenaline, no longer uses throw stone, and uses cart termination when chasing and not only attacking.
  • Vaethlain now uses deluge, no longer uses magic rod when attacked by bolts or jupitel, and soul burn's frequency has been greatly reduced.
  • Jora no longer uses increasing accuracy, and now uses rapid shower when chasing.
  • Hypnotize uses Cloaking Lv 8, due to Chase Walk not functioning properly in monsters.

Wild Emperium:
  • HP lowered to 600,000
  • DEF/MDEF lowered to 40.
  • OCA (3%) drop has been replaced Damp Card Album (100%)
  • Drops Yggdrasil Berry at 100%
  • Drops Occult and Sacred Incense at 9%
  • Drops Royal Gold Bullion at .18%
  • Drops Hat Voucher at .24%
  • Drops Combat Knife at .09%
  • Drops Rough Enriched Ore at .24%
  • Spawn time changed to 3 Hours~3 Hours & 30 minutes
  • Uses spirit destruction when targeted by a single-target skill at close range.
  • Pulse Strike cast time lowered from 2.5 seconds to 1 second.
  • Magic Mirror, Wide Bleeding/Stun/Curse/Stone/Freeze cast times increased to 1 second, and their frequency and delay have been lowered.
  • Sanctuary skill level increased from level 3 to 10, and usable only when HP is below 75%.
  • Wall of Fog and Quagmire cast time increased to 1 second.

Item Changes

"Runestone" drops have been changed in (very early) preparation of things to come. Naturally spawning mobs that dropped ancient rune (Scarabas) now drop general rune. Kushiel now drops Mystic Rune, while Leak and Hardrock Mammoth drops General Rune, and Kraken drops Ancient Rune.


Weapons:
  • Changed Harp of Nepenthes' refine rate requirement from +10 to +9.
  • Lowered Eraser's refine rate requirement from +10 to +9.


Headgears:
  • Dark Mask/Quve Mask is now a Middle headgear instead of Lower and Middle. It drops Quve Mask at .06%.
  • Lude Mask drops from Lude at .06% and is also a Middle Headgear. It gives +2 MDEF and increases physical and magical damage to the dark property by 4%.
  • Witch Hat and Purple Bat Doll are now Upper Headgears instead of Lower and Middle.
  • Thanatos Odium Mask's stats have been changed to resemble the other thanatos masks (MDEF+2).
  • Fixed Banshee Master Kiss and Deviruchi Balloon's activation rate.
  • Gold Feather hat has been changed due to 100% race resistance not being possible anymore. Now it gives +1 All Stats, +5% HP/SP Recovery. If the wearer is noble, it will reduce damage from allegiance monsters (The ones seen during chronicle events that look like players) by 20%, plus an additional 10% if the player is of baronet rank or higher. If the player has 100 allegiance points or higher, it will increase damage against these monsters by 10%.


Cards: Added Nightmare Toy Factory Cards. Although the Christmas quest dungeon will be a seasonal addition, the non-MVP cards will still be obtainable in the future via Old Card Albums.
  • Snow Lude Card (Garment) adds +15 MATK and a .20% chance to cast Lv. 5 Cold Bolt.
  • Winter Gibbet Card (Armor) adds +5 Flee and +15 ATK.
  • Haunted Teddy Bear Card (Footgear) increases maximum SP by 10% and grants +5 Flee.
  • Haunted Myst Case Card (Weapon) reduces cast time by 3%.
  • Haunted Cookie Card (Footgear) increases maximum HP and SP by 5%, and increases ATK by 1 per refine.
  • Lutian Marionette Card (Garment) adds 5 ATK, increases damage against fire monsters by 10%, and increases critical rate against formless mobs by 15.
  • Christmas Hylozoist Card (Headgear) adds 1 DEF, and increases resistance against the curse status by 20%.
  • Celine Kimi Card (MVP, Garment) increases flee by 30.


The wiki will be updated with these changes in the following days.

December 20th 2016 Patch:

Patch Changelong, February 4, 2017:

- Added another inside map for Lutia Buildings.
- Added several cards, cutins, and monster sprites
- Added a custom sprite to the Black Wing weapon. Credits to Sae-Create for the cool sprite!
- Changed several map "Descriptions" (IE: Vitus Tomb is now "Einbroch Field - Mysterious Tower Area", and so on)

Bio Lab/Somatology Laboratory F3:

- Increased Seyren's drop rate of Full Plate from .03% to .24%.
- Increased Seyren's drop rate of Dragon Killer from .02% to .24%.
- Increased Eremes' drop rate of Loki's Nail from .09% to .36%.
- Increased Eremes' drop rate of Thief Clothes from .06% to .24%.
- Increased Eremes' drop rate of Pauldron from .03% to .24%.
- Increased Harword's drop rate of Lord's Clothes from .03% to .15%.

- Added the remaining stat foods (from +1 to +9)


Wrapped Mask:

Standardized the drop rates, and added the following:

Cards:

- Mavka Card, Accessory (Prefix: Earthen) - Increase damage with Earth Spike by 25%, and reduce casting time of the skill by 25%.
- Gopinich Card, Garment (Prefix: Draconic) - Flee + 10, Increase critical rate by 10%, Increase damage with critical attacks by 10%.
- Orcring Card, Weapon (Prefix: Orcish) - Perfect Dodge +3, add a 3% chance to inflict the Reverse Orcish (orc face) status on the target when physically attacking.
- Nekoring Card, Weapon (Prefix: Kitten-Killer) - Increase damage against cat monsters by 25%.
- Icering Card, Weapon (Prefix: Icicle) - Increase damage with Lightning Spear of Ice by 3% and Ice Meteor by 10%.
- Goldring Card, Garment (Golden) - Increase ATK by 2 per refine. When attacking, if the user has 500 or more zeny, there is a chance to decrease the SP cost of all skills by 10% for 10 seconds, at the cost of 500 zeny.
- Deviruchiring Card, Armor (Prefix: Absorbing) - When attacking, there is a chance to recover 50 HP and 3 SP with each attack for 8 seconds.
- Wanderess Card, Accessory (Prefix: Warrior's) - Perfect Dodge +5, Maximum HP +2%. If Wanderer Card is equipped, ATK+10, Attack Speed +2%, and Intimidate auto-cast will not activate.
- ????* Card, MVP, Armor (Suffix: Of Eternal Darkness) - When attacking with magic skills, there is a chance to cast Level 5 Hell's Judgement. Increase Max HP by 20 times job level.
*Name removed to avoid spoilers to the Chronicle of Heroes storyline.

- Added new allegiance troops to the Allegiance secondary race


Other:

- Added Huuma Fluttering Snow ([2], Lv. 4, Water Property, 125 ATK, DEX +2, Add a 10% chance to cause the freezing status when attacking.)
- Added Sharpshooter Revolver ([2], Lv. 4, 65 ATK, Hit -10, Decrease SP Cost of skills by 3%.When attacking, there is a chance to Increase damage with Rapid Shower by 1% per refine rate for 10 seconds.)
- Added Winter Gibbet, Haunted Myst Case, and Christmas Hylozoist, Nekoring, and Orcring cards to DCA list.
- Edited Poring Box to add the mobs listed here.


March 19th 2017 - GM-Ciar - 03-19-2017

General Game File Changes:
- Fixed Sunny Bug's description that stated it went into shoes instead of garment.
- Fixed Black Cat Combo which mentioned "Thief Ring" instead of "Rogue's Treasure".
- Fixed Battle Manual 300%'s description, which didn't mention job exp.
- Fixed Silvervine Fruit Description.
- Fixed Deviruchi Balloon's display name, which used to be "Deviruchi Ballon".
- Renamed "Stone Sword" to "Earth Shaker".
- Renamed "Costume White Cat Hood" to just "Cat Hood".
- Fixed Cat Hood's slot issue, in which it was actually [1] but didn't show it.
- Renamed "Zaha Doll Hat" to "Drooping Bacsojin".
- Renamed "Tanigumi Girl Doll" to "Drooping Tanee".
- Fixed Lord of Vermillion Skill description that stated higher skill levels increased cast time instead of decrease.

Description Update:
- Introduced a new bit of information on items: Applicable Allegiance. Currently, only Zen Helm, Executioner Hood and Soul Wing use it, but in time, as it becomes a standard, more allegiance gears will have this information.
- Introduced another bit of information for custom pets: Food, Loyalty Ability, and Gear Ability. Only a few pets (mainly Lutia ones) have this information currently, but it will become a standard for new pets, if and when applicable. Older pet descriptions will have this information added over time as well.

Sprite Additions:
- Added several official mob sprites (Rachel Guard, Rachel Sanctuary Bishop, Felock, Heydrich, Domovoi)
- Added Doram mob sprites (See here for a glimpse on how some of them look.)
- Added Rockridge mob sprites (see here, for a glimps on how some of them look).
- Some future Malangdo Culvert mobs used the same sprite as existing mobs, so recolored versions were added.
- Added the following Custom Sprites (Recolors or otherwise): Thara Frogring, Jungle Spider, Brown Raptice, and some secret sprites. Some were recolored by GM-Rahice, others by myself. Credits to their original creators.

Sprite Changes:
- Customized the "Fantastic Blue Unicorn" official sprite so it doesn't look terrible.
- Replaced Snow Leopard's sprite with the correct one.
- Fixed Lich Afanasy's attack speed animation.
- Dampened Helltoad's colors sligthly so it fits RO colors more.
- Edited Rockridge's "Purplestone" mob sprite to not be halfway lodged in the floor.

=================Non-Patch-Related updates==================

Guild Dungeon F2 - Hall of The Abyss:
- Increased Death Knight's frequency of casting Hell Judgement Lv 1.
- Fixed some of Pyuriel's skills where she targeted herself with Frost Diver and Triangle Shot.
- Increased MVP-summoned Lora's Earthquake from level 3 to level 5.
- Increased the frequency at which Gioia uses skills.
- Increased Warg's hit rate slightly.
- Increased Kade's Dimension Door from level 1 to level 3, and its movement speed from 175 to 165 (15 above the average walk speed for players).
- Increased the drop rate of Silver Guard [1] from Armor Bug to .30%.
- Increased the drop rated of Feathered Ring [1] from Golden Dragonfly from .15 to .21%.
- Increased Revenant's drop rate of High Heels [1] from .06% to .12%.
- Increased Tenebris' drop rate of Ancient Cape [1] from .06% to .12%.

Mob Changes:
- Dreamstone Golem's HP has been reduced to 250,000 from 400,000, and its defense/magic defense has been lowered to 40.
- Dewata mobs had their levels lowered by about 10, in an attempt to follow the level proportions of most other mobs.
- Izlude Dungeon F6 mobs had their levels lowered by about 20.

Items Changes:
- Wanderer's Sakkat now takes Upper slot only, instead of Upper and Mid.
- Mega Resist Potion is no longer storage-locked.
- Lutia-Quested Bacsojin and Tanee Doll headgears are no longer storage-locked.
- Pyuriel, Gioia, Daehyon and Kades can now be summoned from Bloody Branches.

Item Drops:
- Majoruros now drops Majoruros Horns at .30%. Custom effect to be revealed in the future.
- Many event and ToH monster trial mobs have had their drops removed to avoid cluttering @whodrops.
- Comodo Octopus headgear drop rates have been increased from .75% to 1.5%, while DCA drop rate has been increased from .30% to .60%.

April 14th, 2017 - GM-Ciar - 04-14-2017

General Game File Changes:
- Fixed several minor item descriptions.
- Pom Spider card is more clear in describing it only affects race.
- Changed Masterdrop's prefix from "Unripe" to "Orange", as the former is already used by Green Applering card.
- Dark Shadow, Luciola Vespa, Draco, Aqua Elemental and Cornus cards' suffixes have been changed to prefixes.
- Centipede Card now has a prefix as well, and was changed to "Venomous".
- Renamed "Brown Avian Wings" to just "Avian Wings".
- Replaced Prontera's minimap with the correct one.
- Added sprites for Mantis and Strigoi pet/tames.


April 23rd, 2017 - GM-Ciar - 04-23-2017

- Added new Geffen Maps as consequence of April 22nd's Chronicle of Heroes event


May 8, 2017 - GM-Ciar - 05-08-2017

General File Changes:
  • Added 4 new maps to be used in the conclusion of the "Of Fiends and Shadows" storyline.
  • Added 2 new sprites extracted from another game by GM-Abathur and pieced together by GM-Ciar.
  • Fixed several item descriptions, suffixes, prefixes, etc.
  • Removed the current item description to Satanic Bone Helm and Mental Destroyer, and replaced with "Effect to be released". There is currently no date for an official release of these two items.
  • Added a custom recolor to the Mental Destroyer Item.
  • Updated Takius' Blindfold item description with the gear's new effect.

  • Fixed several item descriptions.
  • Fixed several card prefixes / suffixes.
  • Added several custom descriptions for new hatter hats.
  • General game file tweaks (Map Display Names, etc).

Map and Image Changes:
  • Added Pool Prontera Map files.
  • Added a fix to a loading screen issue, where only screens 00 through 06 were shown, instead of 00 through 25
  • Replaced a few existing loading screens.
  • Added several card images.

Sprite Changes
  • Added a recolored version of Hanz Von Abendroth's MVP summons.
  • Added an improved version of the headless mule sprite.
