Wow! I love the idea about the accy reward, but how about a way to re-randomize it, like a quest, that way we don't get stuck with +5% from fish monsters and such.
Just an idea..

(as for randomized 5% exp boost accessory, won't there be increasing amount of complains how luck runs heRO instead of skill as if the other thread in that other section is not annoying enough? Getting brutes, demi-humans, undead or angels will really be superior over... insects, and all of this will be based on luck too. Even Namin? cannot see anyway to justify how this will increase the luck factor compare to everyone else...)
Actually, reviving some method to obtain old holiday quest hats for 1 to 2 days would be nice too...

- A food item (last 20 minutes) that gives +2 or +3 to all stats. NPC would hand 3 per character, untradable. Veterans have been here the longest, they have more characters, thus would get more, but newcomer also get a small boost.

I like the accessory idea, but it would be unfair for a lot of people, unless there was a way to re-randomize it, like spire suggested.

On a previous server I played on cake sold for 3-5k each =\ Although that server didn't have fish.

Yah cakes usually worth a lot on most servers, but we got fishies ^_^
Cakes still have a little worth here as some headgear quests require them.
I'd like another experience event as I didn't really have time for the last one, but I understand why you don't want to do one. I'm also being biased cause I wanna make getting to 98 on my sage less of a pain than it has been!
I like the 5% experience hat too, especially if you limit the randomization a little. Make it so it comes up with brute, fish, undead, formless, or plant only everyone trains on one or the other eventually or several at once.
Just a simple headgear for celebrating 100 players wouldn't make me too unhappy either, I always just like making them! If you made a quest for the hat it should be like the other custom hat quests and it shouldn't only stay up for a small amount of time (thus making it a perma quest).
Then again I just realized you could do that with the 5% exp hat too.
Maybe you can have an npc give a small set amount of exp too, but that might be a little silly >_>
I think that's all I really have to say, I don't really have any nifty suggestions to give!
