Eh I always think Gobs before Elves as the standard idea of aggro deck...but then again its more slide based aggro. x)

Thrulls.

Wait, what?

Ugh, Goblin Guide almost hammered my makeshift (still in development) Myr deck earlier.

Surprisingly, it beat Red Deck Wins. o.o But I'd say that was only because my opponent got Mana-screwed.

Mox Opal lost my support when I found out it was legendary...way to ruin a great card wizards....

Presently im still deciding whether to run Red Deck Wins still or go RG Ramp...hmm hard choice.

RE: Magic the Gathering - Magister Magi - 10-08-2010 06:19 PM

Yeah, I thought that was stupid of them too. You can only have one out because of the Legendary rule, so it would be sort of pointless to run more than one? Well, in Type II anyways.

Red Deck Wins? How viable is that now that most of the cards in the deck have been moved to Extended?

RE: Magic the Gathering - Avalon_Fates - 10-10-2010 06:57 AM

Completely actually. It just runs more burn less, 6/1's ect. Its slightly weaker then it was but that's just until people work out the metagame.

I just built a deck that runs Memoricide and Sadistic Sacrament main deck. The rest of the deck is kill spells, even the creatures. So its got *theoreticly* a good matchup verse control and aggro.

....So I played vintage today with my spirit deck (kamigawa) lost, but its was fun to be in a 4 way game with new blood for once. =D

RE: Magic the Gathering - Magister Magi - 10-11-2010 12:06 AM

@Avalon_Fates: Wow, that does sound like it can hold its own against control and aggro decks. My old blue/white control would've had a hard time with it most likely.

@Seth: I've said it before and I'll say it again, Kamigawa Block rocks.

Hated the Kamigawa block with a vengeance #___#
