Jobchange quest (monk) mushroom part - blublup - 02-06-2010
i tried to do the mushroom quest to become a monk. searched page how it works - there it tolds about 100 points to gather net mushrooms 1 point the others 3 points.
now i have much more mushrooms than exspected but the npc tolds me they arent enough whats wrong. even if the names ar changed i should have the houndred points or do i need more than 100 points

"Talk to Bashu to choose the Mushroom Collecting Test. He will warp you to the test room. In the test room, make sure you begin by talking to Hyunmoo, tell him you want to start collecting mushrooms now.
In this test, you just have to collect mushrooms. He won't tell you how many you need. When you think have enough, talk to Hyunmoo to see it is enough for him to pass you.
In eAthena servers, it seems that you have to have at least 30 of one kind of mushroom, plus at least one of the other kind of mushroom in order to pass the test.
If you run out of patience, you can tell Hyunmoo you are going to give up and he will warp you out."
That's an instant quote from RMS, I know its not the holy god of everything with private servers.
I'd say, just keep collecting stuff until you're allowed to finish. If the NPC says no, farm them for another 5 minutes and try ask again.

Thief test is based on points. Monk test is based on an absurd number of mushrooms.
In other words, get more mushrooms.

Yeah, that test takes forever. You probably don't have enough.

Just keep collecting more until the dude says "Okay, you pass". It's easier if you don't think about how many you have.

You have to get 30 from each mushroom. You can get more, but I guess it would be senseless
