Pokemon HeartGold - Frogboy - 04-30-2010 01:47 AM

I'm just curious, but does anyone else have this game, cuz if not i won't bother posting my friend code for wi-fi battles.

also, although it's just a remake of the original gold and silver games, what do you guys think about it? either from screenshots or for those that may own the game.

my personal opinion, i like the remake as i did play the original for gameboy color, and i was not impressed with it then, but i am now.

I loved the original gold/silver. I don't own a Nintendo DS/DSi so I can't say much. I just hope it doesn't fail the original series.

Quick question, is h/g EXACTLY like the old gold version, game wise?

Please say yes Icon_suprised

I like crystal better, but i did enjoy gold. Had them in my mobile until some dufus accidentally formatted my memory card, my complete pokedex with my blue corsola, grey rattata, and green hoothoot.Icon_cry

You can read about it here if you want to see what they added to it. Otherwise, yeah, it's the same as the originals.

._.; It's also responsible for the infamous "stripping" scene.

well i never really got in to the original games so it's hard to say if it's like them or not, but i really enjoy it so far, especially with the pokewalker accessory, it's pretty fun having stocks of status berries and pokemon that you can catch from the walker.

also, if anyone does have the game, and is interested, i'd like to do some wifi battles just to check my IVs. i'll post my friend code later.

lol

I have heart gold. I got it a few days after it was made available in stores.
After much difficulty (I'm a pokenoob), I beat all gym leaders and the elite four + champion. I just have that one dude left on that one mountain place. Oh and not to mention the countless legendaries I haven't caught yet Icon_sad
Sadly, I didn't get to play gold/silver/crystal.

RE: Pokemon HeartGold - Session - 05-02-2010 08:56 PM

I did ~

Which, I was also like...9 years old I think . So once I found out thunder punch, dynamic punch, ice punch, and fire blast could all be utilized by my level 100 Typhlosion...need I continue my explanation? Evil

lol, i've only gone through one gym so far, but it's worth it since i'm getting stocked up on a whole bunch of items and pokemon off the bat, which will give me an easier time through the rest of the game =)
