Why don't you just bookmark the login page? Or even the vote page if thats what you're concerned about, since it will ask you for login details and then take you to the page you bookmarked if you do that.

Bookmarking is a good idea if you find it that annoying. I suggest you do that.
In other words, the presentation page will stay the main page.
