Curse of the were-porings. - Kit - 07-08-2010

Alright folks, we have been invaded by cursed porings. Every time the moon is full they turn into horrible monsters that attack our towns!

Something has to be done about this!

Okay, the general idea for this came to me when I was thinking about abracadabra and monocell.

The unique skill of abra that turns whatever you cast it on, into a poring!

Well, let's take this to the flip-side. What if porings were turned into something else!

This could be a "survival" style novice event where the porings must be killed within a time limit before they transform into deadly monsters.
-OR-
The event could start with all the porings beginning to change. Basically a custom DB/BB event. Just for something new and unique! ^_^

Sounds terrifyingly fun for novices...

Edit: might wanna make it in waves, first wave of porings becomes zombies, 2nd wave of drops becomes ghouls, 3rd wave of poporing becomes zombie prisoner, final wave of marin becomes zombie slaugher. Well, just an idea...

I'd leave the decisions on what turns into what up to the GM running the event. ^_^

I hope one of the GMs leaves a message! I'm excited to hear what they think!

Seems interesting, but maybe with something else than Zombies, since we already have Zombie Runs.

Oh god, a Poring with the class change ability =x.?? I remember turning an Alice into an Osiris with that from Ababracadabra. Back before Kiel was available =x

Only problem with that is Class change isn't reallly a controllable??thing, you could get anywhere from a poring that turns into a fabre, to a Poring that turns into Gloom Under the Night. Might have to Make a buncha??poring clones??and give each of them?? a different monster to metemorph like a Pupa or Thief Bug Egg would.

My suggestion would be to hjave them turn into enraged peco peco's or scorpions, but that may be a little tough for a novice to handle. Also Aggro poporings, Familiars. Bomb porings might be nice, if they're agressive. we usually use Non- aggro ones for the traditional Poring-smash style Bomb poring smashes. If we took the AoE skills off of it, I wonder if Garden Keeper wouldn't be a good Idea. It only has 30 HP, but it'd be quite deadly =p. Quite hilarious when you have a mob of 15 novices hitting hit and it uses heaven's drive.

The metamorph idea is probably the best solution for this if we want to control what they become... heheheh, all turn into aggro wolves or something... they target one, and all swarm! KEKEKEKEKEK!
