Status resistance - mahawirasd - 08-22-2010 Soo... for a long time i've read RO Data zone, and i also subscribe to ROratorio's calc. However, i just noticed how different the two are in terms of status resistance calculations. http://rodatazone.simgaming.net/mechanics/status_effects.php http://calcx.wushuang.ws/pvp.html Now the question is, if i were to fine tune my build(s) to achieve status immunity(ies) in HeRO, which formula should i adhere to? I know i should look at eAthena's forums etc. I did that. There is mention that 97 is the magic number, but looking at status.c files, status.h files, as well as battle.conf and status.conf files, i can't for the life of me find this number... could anyone point me to the proper place please? Thanks lots -w- RE: Status resistance - Shikari - 08-23-2010 Depends on wheter youre trans or not, i think its like 93 vit (in trans) for full resistance (to vit shi*, stun/bleed/silence/poison), dunno about the others RE: Status resistance - mahawirasd - 08-23-2010 well thing is, if 97 is the magic number, then RO data zone is probably right, but i'm wondering whether the formula is 100% correct... the formula (for stun) is (simplified) 97-VIT-(LUK/3) and for sleep is 97-INT-(LUK/3) any surefire answer on this matter perhaps? -w- |
