Auto Blitz Hunter/Sniper (kinda) - Fellhound - 09-20-2010
So I've got plans to make a hunter/sniper that's mostly agi/dex with a bit of luk to trigger Auto Blitz Beat.
I'm not planning on doing crazy amounts of damage with the auto-blitz, just looking to stun mobs in PvM.
Speaking very generally, my base stats will be:
Agi: 90+
Dex: 90+
Luk: Around 30
Everything else: Low
Does anyone have any feedback for my plan?
Also, does anyone have any suggestions for gear or cards that might be useful for this kind of build?

Gears, I assume you're new so for the gears:
Newbie Gears
Upper Headgear: AoA(for +3dex)/Ghost Bandana(for +2agi)
Mid Headgear: Binoculars
Lower Headgear:Anything you like.
Armor: Pantie[0] is good.
Garment: Undershirt[0] for the Pantie + Undie combo.
Bow: Arbalest[2] w/ 2 archer skel card is very good for newbies.
Accessory: Brooch[0] x2
High-end/Semi High-end/Not High-end gears
Upper Headgear: +8 Purple Velvet Hat/Vinit Doll Hat
Mid Headgear: Still, Bino or be a noble for better looks.
Lower Headgear: Advanced HeRO Backpack (luk+2)
Armor: Dragon Vest[1]/Pantie[1] w/ some agi card you need to check RMS coz I forgot or you want to get avian wings (which covers up the lower headgear too) for the +6 agi
Garment: Undershirt[1] for the pantie combo, Dragon Mant[1] for the Dragon vest combo or Ancient Cape[1]with bapho jr card
Accessory: Linen Glove[1] w/ Kukre card x2 (trans only)
Bow: OAB for any mob you want to kill + endow/converter or Ixion's Wings (trans only) for bonus aspd (more chances for autoblitz)
for the build:
I suggest
Agility > Dexterity > Luk > Int > Vit > Str
> means greater than. (LOL)
I didn't invest str and vit as a auto blitz sniper..
I hope that would help.
Edit:
You can also use Flying Angel or Advanced Mini Propperler (if you want flee) for upper headgear and evolved small ribbons (for flee) for mid headgear..

A couple of questions though.
How would I obtain: Vinit Doll Hat, Advanced HeRO Backpack, either Dragon piece?
Also, what is OAB?
And finally, why do you suggest an Arbalest over say, a Burning Bow?

OAB = Orc archer bow, priced at 8-9 mil atm

OAB is short for Orc archers bow. the rest i can't help with.

You can get:
...Vinit Doll Hat from Hatter quest or buy it from people.
...Advanced heRO Backpack from a quest during heRO bday.
..Dragon Set dropped by mobs. Check RateMyServer.Net for it.
OAB is Orc Archer's Bow
I suggest Arbalest the +2dex and you can use it for monsters of all types other than the burning that is only good for earth monsters. If you grind on earth element monsters then burning bow is the best option other than OAB + Endow.
Check RateMyServer.Net if you want to know what an item do, monster types, etc....

Don't forget that INT increases your Falcon's damage, although a large amount of it won't make that much of a difference. Still, there are some builds that sacrifice some DEX for more INT-- but that's more of a personal choice.

When is heRO birthday?
Also, I asked about the Dragon set because I checked RMS and it doesn't say what mobs drop it.

Since my Luk isn't high enough to auto-blitz consistently, I'd rather put those point into Dex since I know I'll be shooting constantly.
And my thinking behind Burning Bow is that Geographers are weak to fire as are most undead creatures I run across.

Draco drops Dragon Vest here on heRO.
Also Duneyrr and Nidhoggur's Shadow drop Dragon Manteau.
You can check what drops what from Nidhog Dungeon with @whodrops on heRO if needed. I doubt you will easily obtain a Dragon Vest+Mant cause the people killing the boss have kinda disappeared I think or aren't really trickling Mants into market. Its also bad that nobody parties Nidhog Dungeon. :D
