Its me~ HeRO's Artificial Humanoid Interface with world domination on there mind bringing you another interesting idea.
HeRO Hard Mode
The reason for creation is of course to make the game more interesting and truly prove who has the Skill, Guts, Patience and Honor to be a true hero.
Aim of the Game is to reach 99-50/70/99
The Rules are as follows~
Rule 1 = If your character dies. You must delete it or alternatively it is disqualified from this challenge *If you want to keep it anyways that is fine but it loses heRO Hard Mode status*
Rule 2 = You can not buy, sell or trade with another person. All items must be hunted on the character itself, you cannot transfer items or zeny between your heRO Hard Mode char and other characters/accounts and visa-verse. You can buy items from NPC's and sell to NPC's.
Rule 3 = You can only gain one level on a map. Maximum. If you gain a level on a map that map is now blocked for you, if you gain more then one level on a map you are disqualified. This does not include npc given exp (Like from Quests)

Optional Rules for Legendary HeRO mode.
Rule 4 = Reach 99 Trans following the first 3 rules, this includes rule 3.
Rule 5 = No use of the Warper, Flywings or Butterfly wings. Creamy Cards are allowed.

Now of course enforcing these rules are impossible. So if you want to cheat or ignore parts of this that's fine. But if you have the Honor to follow these rules and enforce them on yourself then those who finish the challenge and post a screenshot of there control panel character information. *Just the part that says character deaths, do not post any private info that would allow access to your account @-@*
you will be rewarded with the gloating privilege of saying you completed one of the hardest challenges in RO.
And a snazy new title.

So...
you just go to any regular grinding map, get to 99% and then go get the level to any random map that isn't "locked" and then return to your regular grinding routine?

Hmmm? I may be loud, annoying and make crazy crappy builds that don't really work. But you are just a shitty person, and I'm not talking about you being an unskilled player cause I know you have skill. I'm talking about you being the sort of person who has the personal value equal to a pile of dog shit.
This thread isn't forcing anyone to do heRO hard mode. Its not saying that anyone who doesn't is any less skilled then someone who does. It was made as something fun that people might like to attempt. Really you keep posting about people that are doing things is not right , not optimal or not to your liking and because your ego is that of a lump of crap you feel the need to try and make others feel the same way.
So go back to being the skilled, optimized person you are and flush yourself down a toilet in record time using the minimal amount of effort and resources necessary. The smell is starting to get unbearable.
That said if you wish to flame me back do so via PM. This thread isn't about people who disagree with the system but a fun discussion on what we can do with it and those attempting it.
Main Topic
While it is indeed true you can kill 99% of something then make the last 1% on a map you don't care about *realized this when I originally mentioned this idea* that's just a part of the game. In every game with rules its a true gamers job to find loopholes to exploit~ and a Game Masters job prevent or fill those wholes.
The biggest challenge is of course not wasting maps. There are only so many in the game. So once you use all the quests it becomes quite hard to find maps that you can level safely at without dieing.
Hmm shame RO doesn't have an achievement option like most games these days.
