Tormenting Spirit - Ultima_Pi - 10-30-2010 Quote:Reflect 3% of all Physical Melee Damage back to the enemy which inflicted it. While I enjoy your dedication to authenticity, I would like to point out that there aren't two reflect chances listed in the description. Unless, of course, I've missed something totally obvious, like the chance to reflect 3% physical damage being 100%, which would mean your reflect chance for physical at +7 would actually be reduced to 6%. RE: Tormenting Spirit - Namine - 10-30-2010 They meant the 3% single target magic reflect chance being boosted to 6% reflect as the "second" reflect I think. Just a small typo~ RE: Tormenting Spirit - Snowhawk - 10-30-2010 Is it 100%? I sat with the hat on while poison spores tried to hit me, and I got 1 recoil every few hits, not every successful hit. I also think that it ups the physical one to 6% of all is reflected. RE: Tormenting Spirit - Namine - 10-30-2010 old svn physical reflect is always 100 but current svn does allow potentially a chance to reflect physical damages only RE: Tormenting Spirit - GM-Azote - 10-30-2010 Panda says sorry, it's not very clear, but at +7 the magical reflect chance is 6% and the amount of physical reflected is 6%. RE: Tormenting Spirit - Snowhawk - 10-30-2010 I was right lol, but ya I see what you mean Namine. RE: Tormenting Spirit - Namine - 10-30-2010 Naga Scale Shield is the only partial physical reflect chance, so it's not very known to people that you may not always reflect 100% anymore. Good to see that the GMs cleared up all confusion though \o/ RE: Tormenting Spirit - Weapon - 11-02-2010 This hat is also a little severely hax when it comes to mobbing classes in that you recover 1 SP for every hit at a 100% chance. Bring it to juperos, grimtooth a mob of 40, gain +37 SP (and probably some HP) for every GT. By the time everything's dead, you'll probably be at full or near-full HP/SP. The rideword hat can (often) have similar effects, but its SP siphon is not a 100% success rate. RE: Tormenting Spirit - Aaronock - 11-02-2010 Well if it means much its not slotted, and it eats all headgear slots so that means no mid headgear, and no wings or backpack. Its overall pretty fair since most people farming Jupe are wearing item dropping gears usually too, or any mobbing class really heh. :3 RE: Tormenting Spirit - Namine - 11-02-2010 Since it eats up lower headgear slot, the immediate comparison is that you can't use winged earth deleter, which would've recovered 20 sp per kill. (Right now you need 10 sp per kill and 1 sp additional hit.) |
