makes you press lots of buttons in a single button legal?
i'm not using any program of some sort (haven't even looked for one) so i would like to know if it's legal. otherwise i'd just be buying a keyboard lol

I believe that's macroing, and macroing is illegal.

k. im buying a new keyboard for epic-ly quick gear swapping action then xP (my laptop's keys have been faceplanting since i started doing WoE, i wouldn't want to add more keys to that xP)

Going to have to respond here...
You do realize that a keyboard macro is the exact same thing as an application macro, right? There is no difference. Both utilize software to perform a programmed sequence. I don't know the policies regarding macro keyboards on heRO, but if one type of macro is banned... keyboard macros are probably included.

I think iSpam is simply referring to a new keyboard because their laptop's keyboard is messing up. Not because their laptop's keyboard lacks macroing capabilities. I imagine battlemode on a dysfunctional keyboard is rather difficult and aggravating.

Assuming that splits does in fact have gears to swap, I can't imagine that whatever class shes playing, unless its a priest and even then, requires her to use all 37+ keys on a keyboard, including the standard f's to the point that she can't swap armor/wep.
Thus its assumable that she plans to /macro with her new keyboard.
Also, marco is any program/software that allows your computer to do automated tasks, whether its pressing 20 buttons at once, or clicking specific colors in a window, or just clicking on the same spot.

why the hell would i macro if i know it's illegal?(and yeah as implied here, i don't know what macro means before this) i don't think i'm that incompetent to be not able to do it manually like most >.>
only problem with laptop keys is when you press too many buttons at once, many of them won't work(idk if there's anything i can do about this tbh) and sometimes unnecessary pressure while pressing keys which leads to them getting damaged permanently so i'd be just using a keyboard instead so i can break it all i want. case closed
i may not have that end game gears like you people do but i do know what things i could possibly get as a satisfactory alternative for those(which i have been working for since the beginning, getting them piece by piece thru hard work independently unlike some).
playing without any goal is just bullshit and luckily, i don't waste my time like that
