Yep I'm making a new character again.
So playing TK now.. that will probably be a Star Gladiator after. Could I get like.. full info on them from someone who's played them before? XD I looked them up a bit and their skills seem complicated.. what is a good build for me to work off from? What are their normal leveling habits? Any information helps, thanks in advance.

SO THEN! here's mah shortened, 5 year old proof guide:
Step 1) Make a TK
Step 2) Level a TK (to JOB 50 NABS)
Step 3) Do Star Glad quest
Step 4) Work on getting Odin, Thor, and DG warps unlocked (having all the towns helps too)
Step 5) Get the following gears:
For Odins:
- Any Book with 3 slots carded with 3 Orc Skele cards. (Use Shadow Warm wind)
- Magnis Cap
- Mask of Goddess or Evil Ear Wings (EWE)
- Evil Odin's Blessing (Angeling if your rich)
- Satanic Stone Buckler (Alice if your rich, but in this case, satanic works the same) (Anubis Card)
- HP, STR, or DEF boosting shoes of some sort (Prolly Martyr carded footwear)
- STR Accessories (Mantis Card) or if your DEF whore, 2 safety rings.
For Thors:
- Any Book with 3 slots (Warm Wind is your friend) carded with ppe, penomena etc. (formless and fire = kasa)
- Magnis Cap
- Mask of Goddess or EWE
- Odin's Blessing of Ifrit
- Hodremlin Stone Buckler (Alice if your rich)
- Martyr Carded Footwear (something that gives good def or bonuses)
-same accesories
Stats:
Str -> 99
Agi -> 1
Vit -> 30
Dex-> 77
Luk-> 40
(This is probably for a 99 Star Glad, but its a good picture as to where your stats should be gravitated.)
Now all you need to do is figure out how to kill skeggs...without dying.
-First, GET CONSUMABLES. Mutants, salmon, and angels should work fine.
If not those, whites and blues. (your gonna need sp)
-Second, Learn all of the skills that deal with the Stars (PM in game for details)
-Third, Mark Odins F3 map of the stars (lotsa bonuses, specially on day of the stars...Union = Yum)
-Four, Flying Side Kick the suckers with warmth precasted, and spam fish or pots to stay afloat (lvl 3 warmth of the stars lasts 60 seconds, the skeggs wont get the knockback effect since their boss type).

Both Odins and Thors are kind of out for leveling purposes. Now that Heat requires HIT to connect, you'd need 201/223 HIT to kill Skeggs. Thors is also hard to get teh HIT needed AND the Kasas have reflect so that's kind of out as well.
Dimensional Gorge is your best bet in the long run.

Only problem with gorge is the pre - required lvl 80 for the quest so....Use your imagination I guess XD

I understand about the hit, but i went and tested skeggs with around 45 base dex and hit them just fine (I think, I was too nub at lvl 68 to survive long enough tell how much i was hitting them but i did round 450 per hit).
Plus if you have a good friend or guildmate who has a Linker you can always kick stuff like hillwinds till u get enough jobs for lvl 9 Knowledge, then get Union (perfect hit, def bypass = best skill ever).
Bottom line is, if you want leveling to be relatively painless using heat, your gonna need friends to jump start you (Devo, Priest, Prof for sp maybe).
SG takes a group/guild effort in my opinion...unless your rich. which i am not

Union also drains your HP fast, though.

I am a strong believer that playing a "Heat" Star Glad with shitty gears and using Union is a great way to practice your potting :D

hidiho,
im playing a gorge optimized heat sg build myself and really dont want to kill your mood on this since it is a really enjoayable char but be aware that if you want him to really fit a role and not to be a pure funchar it is a quite expensive choice both startinvestment and maintenance wise.
even with 2k on each heat hit and tormenting ghost (headgear),which essentially halves your sp loss i burn through 150+ angels an hour easily.
if youre dedicated however as a hint, to jump the mentioned gap from taekwon change to gorge owl dukes are quite nice with 70k+ xp on star days
since their weapon cards (minos) are quite affordable.
if you just like the martial arts style staying a taekwon might be a good idea,theyre way faster and if ranked they can kick ass quite well.
Dont know how hard it is on this server to get ranked though.
