Hey, so I kind of crash at Prontera every single time. I'm kind of stuck there...and I also moved one of my characters into pront, and he got stuck there. I figured out the patcher failed to download one of the updates, so I think that might be the problem. Is there anyway I can get a manual patch download?

Open neoncube.file in a text editor and change it from 174 to...169 or something.
Also update ragray just in case, sakray is gone. If you have sakray and no ragray, redownload.

As Rankin said, to repatch heRO you can lower the number in the file neoncube.file, make sure the game is closed as you cannot patch it while open, that's usually the only reason it would have failed to include a patch.
So if you never ran the patcher while the game was open, the 2nd suggested Rankin made to update your Ragray stands better chance of fixing your problem. If you still experience any problem, feel free to make a Support Ticket.

I did that but my patcher still gives me "Failed to get hero20110924.gpf"

In that your patch is from September, it may be best to roll back your Neoncube file to an even earlier date. I could be wrong, but I believe we may have had more than five patches since September. xp
Try rolling it back ten digits instead of five this time. Also remember to save it as the original file name and file type.

Whispers, rolling back won't help that. It's stating it cannot connect to whatever is hosting it, meaning a disconnection or 404'd.

Is there anyway I can manually patch my files?
And also... I can't even log on to my character... So is there anyway for a GM to maybe... strip my character?

A GM can move your character I believe.
And another user can't patch. Perhaps a host issue related to the lag?

While it is possible to manually patch, it's not the easiest thing ever.
So instead, we have a handly little zip folder of the latest heRO data file and co.
Download it, and unzip both files into your RO folder.
