Well guys I decided to adjust my style a bit from how it was before and came up with something like this based on my rogue. Yes I know the belt is missing, it was frustrating me for some reason because it wouldn't look right at all. Just wanted to know what your guys' thoughts are on this and if there is anything I could possibly work on to better myself even more?
I'm still impressed with how I did my hair compared to being the solid color it used to be~

The background hurts my eyes a bit xD lots of blur....are you using photoshop? there's a nice grass brush in it that you can use x3 it'd give your picture more texture :D I like the texture you added for the hair too x3

Thanks for suggesting fixing the background. Once I get ahold of my tablet I'll try and work on that to make it look sharper.

Hmmz... I always prefer mouse > tablet but that's just me.
=x But I still use both.
If you plan to keep on a solid color style then hinder more tone to shadows. (like cell shaded)
But you want more blend, more colors are needed. It is a good base and basic to start.
If you blend more colors, usually it is nicer with less thicker outline.
I can see you added shadow for the neck but the rest is very little. As result it looks kind of odd in a weird way I cannot explain. I was never good with words.
As for the blurry backgound, I thought was meant to be blurry to focus more on the rouge. But yes too much blurry can be an issue.
