Happy B-Day heRO! - GM-Pandora - 10-10-2006
October 15th 2006, which is comming this sunday, we will be celebrating the first anniversary of the server.
Expect at the very least one big event from me on that day, and most probably more as all the event GMs of the server are invited to plan a little something!
On October 15th and only on that day, there will be a NPC in Prontera, talk to him to receive a special surprise, don't delay, because it will be gone on the 16th!

Wow, one year already!
A lot has happenned in a year, many changes, a lot of people joined, some of them left and some are still here, there's been a few fights, but also a lot of good moments, a good deal of events, lots of WoEs, new guilds emerging while others disband, contests of all sorts, trivia and much more!
Do you remember the first few days? few weeks? few months? I know most of you were not on the server at that time, and for those who were I'll refresh your memory!
In the first few days, most people were first job, little acos and mage running arround everywhere, then we had a few second class, sins, priest, hunter, etc.
Back then we almost had more GMs than players! XD With like 7 GMs in the starting team!
The first few WoEs? Only 1 castle open (prontera), the first woe it was not taken by anyone, no one could make it to the Emperium room because the castle was full of monsters!
The first players to make it to 99, Cessy (hunter) in December, followed closely by -Neo- (assassin), then wanderer (sage) and Alexander and Kaede (knight and crusader).
Then in February we had the big update with the Taekwondos, the main chat, dual-clienting being enabled for the first time as well as zooming and lots of RO quest (bios and such).
In March after much work from the GM team (mainly Scott) the first wings were released!
One year after it's opening heRO is still alive and kicking! A lot different than when we started, but with the same goal, to bring a fun Ragnarok environment!

for seems like the server has been up for 2 years but tahts only 1
great job to all gms and players taht have been supposrtign fmo the beggining. *taps him self on the sholder*

Oh yeah I remember the GM's would just randomly super buff you when you were leveling ohh man I think those lasted a little longer than regular buffs and.... I remember the holiday themes like spooky halloween and ummm snow!.. I think. What else... oh yeah what brought me to the server was that I knew the GM's were experienced and very familiar with Ragnarok and.... what really took me was that a GM told me that very soon they would implement something into the Light/Dark items so that when you wore the Light/Dark items, you could fight the opposing alignment :O ahem he knows who he is. besides that heRO .. happy early birthday!

No they were plain regular buffs
And we still do that, but not as often as we did in the beginning ^_^ We used to spoil you
