i couldnt connect and have been trying to for the last hour and a half. check RMS and checked heRO's status and said it was offline

I haven't been able to get on for the last few hours. Logging in to the game server, I get a "Cannot connect to server" error message. When i try to go to the hero-server.net website, there's nothing but that yellow-ish background, no real graphics or text of any kind. And when I try to log in to the control panel, I get a really messed up screen full of errors, the main one being "Critical Error: An error was encountered during the lifetime of the application. This could be due to a variety of problems, such as a bug in the application. However, normally it is caused by misconfiguration."

well good luck luvs cause i cant get in to woe, ive been trying since 3;30 pm, to log on. was really lookin forward to more bg keys, but guess i gotta wait till sunday to start my next 200 points.

If the reason the server is down is, indeed, due to a storm/power outage in the server's area - then Pandora wouldn't be able to get online to tell us about it either. It turns out, Pandora only controls things IRO (in RO) not IRL.
