i cant connect to server... is the server down or something?
um... ok after 1 hour of wait... i am able to log in again

Did you enter ur passwords in wrong 3 times? server rejects the ip for an hour if you do so. If you didnt, then maybe you tried to connect too fast and the server have rejected you.

Zomg that explain a lot of things
When I crash (which happen a lot somtimes) i try to relog as fast as I can sometimes I enter wrong password and that is finnally why some times I can't log on server for a short-long period
