question, both of these items say specifically demi-human "monster"
does that specifically mean monsters of demi-human race. or does it still mean demi-human period. question is 1st part asking if its a balance way of effecting the need for bg gear and 2nd part whether they work in bg against demi-human players. ive heard 2 different answers-so here is the forum post about it.

To my knowledge, there is only one demihuman item script function?-?RC_DemiHuman.
This would mean there's only one function call for bypassing Demihuman race defence - bIgnoreDefRate,RC_DemiHuman.
You'll also notice BG gears also say "demi-human monster" in the item descs.
Count my money on "all the same".

Demi-humans are demi-humans. Players are counted as demi-human. Thara frog card says monsters, but it also works against players. Any gear that says demi-human in it applies to players as well, so yes the samurai mask works against players, but you're not gonna get the extra exp from them.
BG weapons work against any monsters that are demi-human as well.

ok thanks, just never really read hydra card, so didnt realize said same thing, and just noticed that it said monster on these 2 new gears, so wondered if that was on purpose to mean not pvp, thanks forum heROs,
