Improvements to refinement - hexzerg - 10-06-2013 Ok, I don't expect all of my suggestions to be implemented but it would be nice if some of them were. I think we should add in the breakage protection from HD oridecon/elunium for +7-+10. It helps a lot with refining rare items but like the official it has to be +7 first before you can get any breakage protection. My next suggestion is to add in bradium & carnium for upgrades past +10. A lot of items in the new world have bonuses for refining past +10. Although this might sound overpowering hear me out. Refining past +10 has no protection and has a less success rate than refining. From +1-+10 but doesn't always breaks the item, it sometimes just loses 3 levels of refinement. Let me know what you guys think of both of the suggestions. I would like at least one of them to be considered. RE: Improvements to refinement - Tulwar - 10-06-2013 This would result in +9/10 glorious equips obtained too easily that are ridiculously strong. This type of refinement system is only available on Renewal isn't it? Correct me if I'm wrong..but it's a terrible idea to introduce renewal refinement system on a pre-re server... RE: Improvements to refinement - hexzerg - 10-06-2013 Yes, it is a refinement system that started on renewal. It was just a suggestion. RE: Improvements to refinement - Gojira - 10-06-2013 no RE: Improvements to refinement - Ptah - 10-07-2013 ^ +1 Getting renewal traits without renewal mechanics is a terrible idea. Or adding renewal mechanics at all for that matter imho :D RE: Improvements to refinement - Aaronock - 10-07-2013 Yah pretty much, the insurance thing was added cause you can go up to +20 gears in renewal since def is handled quite differently in renewal, this isn't nearly as broken as it sounds. But doing that here? Heck naw. |
