Trivia:
What's the % chance to block attack with autoguard lvl 4? (18, no one got it)
What's the name of the Dark Allegiance Leader? (Sir Melot, 10 players got it)
How many town warps can you unlock with the Warper NPCs? (26, 9 people got it)
What weapon does the Rebirthing Valkyrie wield? (Trident or Spear, 7 players got it)

It's More like a luck trial than a monster trial..
The custom monster are usually still manageable by guessing it's characteristic from the base monster
but now? not only it has a very troublesome set of skill/stats, but it's also deceiving and almost impossible to guess it's characteristic

the first monster is similar to brilight or stainer, brilight is fire and stainer is wind, but this monster is poison

2nd monster is similar to dolor of thanatos, which is ghost, but this one is undead

the 3rd monkey is similar to yoyo or choco, which is brute/earth or brute/fire, and this one?
it's angel with dark element

the 4th one is the only normal one, which is similar to deviace
(but it hurts like hell)

the 5th one is the worst. It's a freak'n breeze.. A freak'n cyclone!!, IT'S A FREAK'N WIND!!
but guess what? it's ghost, with a freak'n high agi, with very high HP

soo yeah. it's not a monster trial anymore. it's a luck trial, because your knowledge on RO Monster gonna screw you up on this trial

Back in my days, we used to run a quick @mi upon entering. People are getting more and more spoiled, I swear.

Back in my days, ALMOST ALL of custom monster is not @mi-able by using the displayed name due the custom name attached to the monster

Sorry about poll. Added it on top.

Elements and race were chosen by Pandora, my work are stats and skills. I've recognised that some skills might be troublesome, and that's why most monsters had their HP reduced.

First one had around 3.5k HP, and if you were able to hit it at least 3 times in under 20 seconds, you'd probably kill it. It had CSS and autoguard for protecting and decrease agility to hinder players. Which I hinted in the name.

Second one had 12.5k HP, had dispell for close range, quagmire for long range, drained life and drained SP. Which I also somewhat tried to hint in the name.

Third one was... named for skills. It had a set of skills to piss players off.

Well, you get the idea. If I'd be naming them after everything that "needs" to be hinted it'd be more of an essay than a name. Not to mention people have access to skill that tells you all ingame, if you can't find it out by trial and error.

Also, I'd say that vortex qualifies for ghost element as much as it is for wind. Unless you think that everything of ghost element should be white and hardly visible.

ETA: I add both names to the threads I make/host, the actual one, monster's ID and one used in TOH. Yes, they are still using pseudo naming.

i second the complaint about the monsters lineup that are definitely much harder on casters than on snipers/WS. Use moar autoguards and mebbe some CSS (liek for da 3 or 1 mobs)

that being said, imho we also need more tao and turtle gen in items - they are the ones who will hinder snipers/WS moar than casters. We need more 1-item constructs from them - sick and tired of cheese and armors... perhaps "cool glasses" and "kamesenin shell" or something? Icon_razz

I demand we change the monster into an invincible poring that can go through safety walls and have no pushbacks with a one hit K.O. hit like a tonberry. (^@_@)^

I guess more reason to take that Saiyan Scouter headgear, or a prof or Wiz with that one "Sense" skill to read those stats/elements.

doesn't really matter. The major pain point of those custom monster are their behaviour or skillset, which is not available from those scouters
