Bee Wing quest question - Bakorzero - 12-17-2016 10:05 PM

So, before I begin this quest I have several question :
lets say I have char A and char B in 1 account
1. If I do the quest with char A does char B can use the wing ?
2. Char A can ask the drop selection to bee queen, does char B can too ?
3. or char B must do the quest too ?
4. So bee wing drop selection is char based ?
5. Or we just wear it and ask the bee queen ?

1/2) All characters on your account can use the wings, but only one character can change the item dropped.
3) I believe character B, if they make their own wings, can change the item, but I've never made two sets of bee wings on one account. I recall that the drop is specific to each wing, though. So, if you have one wing that drops cheese, and you do the quest on a second character, you can make another wing that could drop say... royal jelly. The only problem is, you wouldn't be able to tell which wing drops which item.
4) Drop selection is account-wide.
5) You do not have to wear the wings to change the item. They can be in storage.

As a note: You can transfer the wings between accounts with a GM service, but it does not transfer the variable needed to change the item that drops.

You choose one character to do the quest, and that character will be the only one able to talk to the queen afterwards to change the item.
You can share the wings on all the character of your account.
The item chosen from the queen its related to the wings and not the character.

PS: i dont remember if i tried and i dont want to go check now, but it depends if every bee wings in your account are treated uniquely, because if not changing one will affect the other too, making a 2nd pair useless mostly.

Bee Wing items are unique to the wings, so if you have multiple wings, each will drop whatever they are set to.

Looking at the quest, I think I am not gonna make 2 of those lol Cry

The bee wing gear uses an account variable, meaning that changing the option on one character affects all other wings. So just 1 wing is enough.
