I assumed that the mission board had an upper limit on price. I just wasn't sure what it was.

It use to have a ceiling on prices but was eventually updated to not have such a restriction.

Mission board is super under-utilized... it saves you the trip so much to spam the buy messages and tell people to drop off at it instead of abandoning whatever you are doing to do pront pick-up. Also, it doesn't tax you like vending does.
