Dispel in towns - Kiwis - 02-04-2018

Dispel doesn't work in towns, including against party members, guild members, and monsters..
Is there a reason for this?

Shouldnt it work only in a pvp environment?

RE: Dispel in towns - GM-Ciar - 02-04-2018

It used to work on players in the same party or guild, on non PVP environments. We'll add that to the list of weird "quirks" to look into.

even in a pvp duel, in town, dispel doesn't work :x

...do you have the yellow gem? xD

EDIT: im in prontera and i can dispel monsters fine.

EDIT2: in @duel, in prontera, i was casting Dispel on a priest, yellow gemstone was consumed, no animation of Dispel was appearing, and no msg about it failing too in chat. Weird.

I remember people having to @duel their SP bat in thors to dispell the bleeding, but Zombie status works too.

Edit: Are you using Shift click with dispell? Since Dispell's supposed to be used on Enemies, when using it on players, shift might be needed.

Yes, neither works - with a ygem in hand. All forms of dispell against players, in towns have failed thus far Sweat
