Claymore Question - Adrillf - 12-05-2018 03:29 PM

Hello again!

I was spending a bit of time on here as the professor playing as a professor while in his professor office during finals week, and I got bored. I dropped in and decided to take my rogue out for a walk, and claymore trap a few mobs.

I gathered up my gear. I went to my mob spot. I made a reasonable stack of about 50 monsters. I stacked them on the same cell. I dropped the claymore . . . and it hit once. It used to be that when a mob stack hit, you could get one hit per each member of the mob. With a big enough mob even the wimpiest of claymore mobbing could kill things.

Has the skill been changed? Does this not work any more? Or did I just mange to do it really wrong after a seriously long break from poking my head into this game.

Heyo, and welcome back to heRO! If I recall correctly, the old claymore trap behavior was removed from official servers due to a bug where stacking too many monsters would crash clients. This affects fire pillar and blast mine as well. There's new gear nowadays that allows for a variety of rogue stat/skill builds though, like Black Wing, Mystic Bow, and the Nab Equip set. Can try those out and tinker with different builds instead.

Also, somewhat unrelated topic that you (or others who are reading this) might be interested in: The final event in the chronicle of Faeheim's Fate of The Unknown story arc will take place this upcoming Saturday at about 7PM EST. Pixie and Lucretia need all the help they can get to protect the rebuilt fairyland and fend off The Unknown!

The date sounds about right for me not knowing what's going on with the game. Hmmm. . . now to figure out a way to level a WS or a stalker in a semi-effective manner/build.

Thanks for the help.

Well, not to start and OT but, WS is the easiest: just CT big stuff xD
Stalker... its way better than Rogue because has Preserve :D

So. . . I've always had mage classes. I have multiple professors and high wizards just so I don't have to reset them. Even support classes are par for my play style (clown and HP are easily geared and playable). However, melee classes like WS are a new realm for me.

I have a fairly . . . unique. . . set of armors and weapons and cards available from excessive hording, but I don't know where to start with them. Any tips, tricks, gear advice, or leveling advice, I'll gladly take. He's a 91/60, and my only goal with him is to get up to 99/70. I already have an MVP-er and don't need another one. I just want to finally finish my second character ever made.
