i need GM help - kenshin - 08-28-2007
hi mi char is Th3 KiDz and i download the new patch a few time ago but when i put the new files in the RO folder i get a problem ... i can enter to my id and password but one screen before i can view my char the RO stop i i cant log off but i cant log in to :S so i try to download the new patch again but i had the same problem ... plz help

hi its me again .. i have the same problem but i keep my last hero.exe and i log in but my char dont be there .. so i read and u must put the new files but with new files.. i cant log in someone know why??? plz i need help!!!!!

What do you mean hero color gold? Are you sure you are using the new hero.exe provided with the september patch? You also got data.ini and hero.grf in your RO folder (also from september patch).
Post a screenshot of your RO folder and I'll try my best to help. Also, where exactly does it get stuck?

hi well im sorry for triple post... well gold color when u go to stylis u choose change color clotes and its HERO colors well in light colors is a color named GOLD or something like and all ur char look like if ... "ur gold" mmm
i have the new patch and i download 2 times cuz i think that maybe in the download was the problem but no ... the 2 times i have download makes me the same problem.
well i cant post a screenshot of my ro folder cuz i dont know how :S and its get stuck exactly in the window name :

Ok, after downloading the septemberhero.zip did you open it and put the files in your RO folder? Make sure you do that, and the file that you use to start the game (hero.exe) right-click on it and select properties, make sure it says it was last updated yesterday.
To take a screenshot of your RO folder press the Print Screen button.
Then open Paint (start menu > accessories > Paint)
Paste the screenshot (CTRL+V)
Save the Screenshot
Upload the file you just saved to www.imageshack.us

yeah i do all of these and yeah i check the file and its ok .. can u log in my account and try to log in?? only for check if my conection is bad or something?

Ya that something similar is happening to me as well, I can type in my User and Pass, but after I select HeRO Server(XX) the game just freezes. It only started doing this after I downloaded the September Patch... Here's A Screen of my RO folder

if you are useing zone alarm firewall be sure to allow hero to access the internet because the hero.exe has changed. Failure to do so will cause the game to freeze exactly the way you guys are talking about.

That doesn't make sense because my firewall isn't even on...
on top of that I can log in with older version, I just can't talk and I look like an extremely rich level 0 ninja....with sage skills lol
