this program i made will check if the server is up *note i made this in about 10 minutes so report bugs XD.
Updated to 1.5:
Ability to be minimized to tray
Will pop up a messagebox and the exe when hero comes online.
~Working on this needs a few adjustments requires to much cpu power atm
Note to GM'S - This does include the source Credits to whoever made the module for the ping function i plan to rewrite this in v2 along with the capability to add more servers.

I check it in RMS (Rate My Server)
I think Staff should add a tool to check if it's online, directly from the server url.

The RMS check says that the server is down even if Namin? is on hero server and just alt-tabbed it

im trying to think of a way without having to do too much parsing for a user to have the ability to add servers to this... i hate HATE parsing with a pasion but i may have to do it T.T

People on heRO certainly has amazing talents that is far beyond that of Namin?'s... (and sir's previous post has completely lost her already. Like... parsing?)
Guess Namin? will stick to her more primitive way to handle this problem:
-if there are 10+ people online for the forum, then server is probably down... because hardly anyone visits the forum all at the same time unless something is wrong with the server itself (poor forum, so neglected and unloved...)

i like knowing the instant(within a second) of when a server comes up. I plan on actually redoing this coding and using a simple winsock function though i will have to wait until the server comes up to see how the server actually responds to packets. for example if u send a packet and it returns ones then you could check and see if it returned something... But some servers tend to no send anything back. Thus making me use this function that im currently using which isnt mine.
I really hate using other peoples code.

aha so the server is down! anyone know why? anyway this is a great program, you have some serious skill there! =D
