The box tells me I have seven characters left, but when I try tp update I'm told my sig is too long.??Could it be the foreign characters?
This is what I want it to be:

As I mentioned, that's only 293 characters.??Why would it tell me its too many after I try to update?
...wth is wrong with the [ code] function?

I just tried something different which left me with 22 characters and received the same message. X_x
Personally, I think the limit should be upped to 500+ I had to make every URL in my sig a TinyURL and then had to remove the "http://" from all the links to make room.

Sorry for the inconvenience, but signatures shouldnt be really long anyway, I think we can all do with what is currently allowed
Try to keep images small too (yours is fine).

The problem is that you can have a long line of text in the signature box, but it will appear as a small box, say, if you use links and such. As Whispers here has done.
