Creamy card/level 1 teleport skill be like flywing! - wussypuff - 12-10-2007
I would love to see the creamy card (tele clip) perform like flywings (aka instant teleport)
i know the teleport level 1 skill has that menu pop up, but i would love to see that menu go away D: it's much easier to save yourself in a life or death teleport situation....
any thoughts?

Namin? believes that the GMs are never overly fond of modifying existing spells... with all the trouble involved and that there's probably more urgent matters to handle. Plus, the current trend is: if it's like that on official server, then keep it that way~
(oh well, fly wing needs some advantage over the creamy card, hm?~)

Well some people prefer to have the menu. I admit I personally like no menu better but officially it triggers the menu, guess we have to live with it ^_^

Plus, Creamy card allows use of Level 1 Teleport - we Creamy card users would then have an advantage over priests actually using level 1 teleport in terms of convenience and time spent teleporting - that's not fair XD

on the last server i played at the menu wasn't there for either creamy card or level 1 teleport.
i didn't know it was supposed to be there o_O

Actually there are benefits to a fly wing over a creamy card.
Spells sometimes take a bit before they fully cast over, during this time you can't use creamy card, but can use fly wing, so yah, this actually has saved my butt many a time.

like wussy, i've played on a server before with no menu bar for teleport. is there any way to remove that? i know that aftercast delay of the skill previously casted will still affect the time where you can use teleport (comparing to fly wing) but that time where you have to press enter to teleport can be enough for mobs to kill you.
so. is there any way to remove that menu bar from teleport skill?

If you dont like that menu popping up. Use fwings.
I am against disabling the menu because I like hitting my enter button and I rather have the menu pop-up stopping me from accidental finger-slip.

i don't have anything against fly wings. it's just that for some character classes, they are quite heavy and a pain in the arse. that accidental finger-slip can sometimes be a 1% saver

I've played on one where level 1 teleport works as a flywing and level 2 teleport works as a butterfly wing. Also, where Lv1 works as a flywing and lv2 brings up the menu--so you could pretty much decide on which one you want.
Either way it'd make a nice modification, I keep my index finger ready to spam enter on teleporting, but it would be a relief to not have to do that.
