What would the prizes be? Zeny? Common Items? Rare Items? Ultra Super Rare Items? or perhaps just OPBs and/or OCAs?

I'd say Zeny, and maybe Zeny+OCA the Sundays.
Only 1 Lottery NPC in all Rune Midgard. The price, depending on the Lottery Tickets sold.

The sources already come with a lottery script in them with added gm-riggability. The problem is that they can then be exploited if gms wander to the "dark side". But there is one that could be molded into this...

I like things that drain zeny from the economy, however if the reward back is zeny it's not draining. It's a delicate thing to balance if we give items. If the rewards are too good then it serves only that the richest players will get them and get richer, if it's not good at all then nobody will buy tickets!
I don't hate the idea, but for now I think we can do without it, and if I were to add the already made script you can be sure I'd remove the GM rig

How about prize = 60% of the profit from ticket sold. That way 40% of the zeny would be drained from the server each time there is a winner.

Anyways, we HAVE a lottery, it's called diamond gambling. I posted a link for it already.
You buy diamonds for 55k each or mine them for considerably less, then trade them in for a handful of hoods.
