Is the skill for a smokie still perfect hide? Yesterday my smokie started attacking monsters instead. I've also read somewhere that the perfect hide thing has been removed. I just want to confirm so that if that is the case, I don't have to keep the smokie with me anymore. What is the new smokie's kill anyway?

If a pet is loyal enough, it will attack anything you are fighting. As a Sin using cloak in Rach1, I can confirm that it worked as of a week or so ago when I was last in there.
And yes, they can do both. I can be running from demons cloaked and have the Smokie slowing down my mob because he is attacking something.

What Raccoon said. It works (providing you have his accessory), + any pet will attack to protect you if loyal enough.

Perfect Hide worked without the accessory half a year ago, I'm not sure about now.

Ah, thank you for the clarification. I did not know that a loyal pet always attacks.
