Navigating With no monitor - TheAbyss - 05-11-2008 03:50 PM

This may sound like a stupid question, but I was just wondering if there was a way to navigate around a computer without a moniter?

My computer is a bit jacked up at the moment... so I have sound on it but I dont really have a moniter/picture... I'm typing this on a work computer so I can't get RO on here. I prolly won't be able to play until:
-My moniter is fixed
and/or
-I learn to navigate a computer with no picture >.<

I think playing RO without a monitor is a bit too hard to accomplish xD

I do have a friend who managed to break his laptop monitor though. So he managed to connect the computer to a TV in his room.
Depending on how old your television is, you might be able to accomplish the same with the help of the proper cables/connectors. The result probably won't be too hot, but hey, depending on how eager you are to play, it's better than not playing at all.

Here are some random links on the subject(I don't know much about it, so I can't verify how useful they really are. But I recommend researching on the matter if you're up to it

Unfortunately, that is as much help as I can give. Icon_sad

edit: typo xD

You'll have to get a new monitor.

There are "accessibility setting" for the blind, but it would probably be hard to get used to it if you're not blind, not to mention you can't do everything, just surfing is really long.

I've worked with no monitor once because my graphic card wasn't detected or something, I had another computer next to it, so I would know which key to press in what order to go change the bios settings "blindly, but I surely didn't see myself doing this to use my computer everyday, and certainly not play.
