if you mean a login name then you need to create it using the following format:
nameyouwant_m -> for male characters
or
nameyouwant_f -> for female characters
make sure to remove the _m or _f before you try logging in the next time.

you click start not register.
When the client loads up you go ahead and choose the server then put that information in the next box.

I look at is that I get home, put the server, and I get only the username and password only

after that log in with the username minus the _M and enter the password you chose to make.
