BGM Problems - Erulan - 06-30-2008 Hey I know there are a lot of posts like this, but I've read through the other BGM problems and mine still won't work. I downloaded the BGM, I have the files I need, and the in-game sound is on and not at zero. I'm pretty terrible with anything programming-wise, so I have no clue what I'm doing wrong. I'd really appreciate the help. T-T RE: BGM Problems - TheAbyss - 06-30-2008 Try using Alt.+O = and see if ur BGM box is clicked, I'm no programmer myself but i know that much RE: BGM Problems - Erulan - 06-30-2008 It is checked. That's the problem. Even if I turn it on and off again, it won't work. RE: BGM Problems - TheAbyss - 06-30-2008 UuUuUuUuUuUuUhm... make sure ur BGM folder is in the same RO folder that has all of ur heRO stuff in it, then try and shuffle through all of the music and play them to see if they arent corrupt files, then you have to redownload them. You might also wanna put up a screenie to see if anybody sees any problems. Make sure the File is named "BGM" exactly. Also make sure that all of the numbers are correct, like maybe there isnt a 0 in front of the 08 on the 8th BGM, which is the Prontera theme. RE: BGM Problems - GM-Pandora - 06-30-2008 Go into your RO folder, locate setup.exe and run it. Play around with the sound option, should solve your problem. RE: BGM Problems - Loki - 06-30-2008 Just out of curiosity did you use our full installer or install the game by yourself? Reason why I'm asking is because I'm curious if you have the following files in your ro folder: Mp3dec.asi & Mssfast.m3d RE: BGM Problems - Erulan - 06-30-2008 TheAbyss: I went through all the music when I downloaded it. They all work and they all have the right numbers. I re-downloaded the music when I realized it didn't work, but no change. Which file does the BGM program use? The original .rar or an extracted file? GM-Pandora: I have a file that's just 'Setup' with Korean symbols after it, not specifically 'setup.exe', but it was still the sound changes, and when I played around with the settings it didn't do anything. Is there a certain way I have to set it? GM-Loki: I downloaded the full installer. There wasn't a BGM file, so I downloaded it from another BGM help thread. Yes, I do have those files. I even re-downloaded them after reading some of the other sound problems in the forum. RE: BGM Problems - Former-GM-Vanadis - 06-30-2008 The music is supposed to be in a folder named BGM inside your RO folder. RE: BGM Problems - Erulan - 06-30-2008 Alright, I'm not sure whose approach actually worked, but the music is working now. >.> Thank you so much for your help everyone! |
