Disconnects - Fruityla - 07-13-2008 For the past three days I've been getting A LOT of disconnects from the server. Upwards of NINE in a single day and 5 in this last 2 hour. I've determined that it's not my modem or router as I've reset BOTH numerous times and only heRO is affected by this. My virus scanner, McAfee, has been updated within this time period. However even after outright turning off the Firewall ad telling it to trust my network, I'm still getting disconnected >_< The McAfee update is also the only thing that's changed on my system. RE: Disconnects - Avalon_Fates - 07-13-2008 Also, your home phone line can be interfering with your Internet connection, only takes a split second of interference to DC rag and you wouldnt notice it on other things. RE: Disconnects - Fruityla - 07-13-2008 My home phone is that digital voice thing Comcast has. I've had that for a good while and it's caused me no problems. RE: Disconnects - BlueAlchemy - 07-13-2008 I had a similar issue, but it was only when me and my bro were trying to play at the same time, What kind of connection are you using? is it connected to a router? and how far is the cable away from a modem? RE: Disconnects - Fruityla - 07-13-2008 Cable connection through a wireless router. The router and the modem are right next to each other. (They're sitting on the desk next to our desktop) Edit: I'm also in the process of patching Sakray as per someone's suggestion in game =p RE: Disconnects - seonji - 07-13-2008 Have you tried playing on another PC that doesn't have the wireless connection? Also, when a wireless connection is getting weird, you can disconnect then reconnect to your wireless network and this can sometimes help too. If you reset your wireless connection, do it from the PC, don't do it from the router since you already tried that =D RE: Disconnects - ShadesOfBlue - 07-14-2008 comcast has issues as well .. they like to block ports that causes too much traffic but that prob isnt it. RE: Disconnects - Fruityla - 07-14-2008 I *think* the problem was fixed after I updated Sakray. Unfortunately, I can't say for sure until I get home from school >_< RE: Disconnects - GM-Pandora - 07-14-2008 Ok, hopefully that helped, let us know ^_^ RE: Disconnects - Fruityla - 07-15-2008 Problem solved xp |
