RE: New Noobie - Logester - 11-30-2008

Ok, from the wording of that question, I'm going to guess you're entirely new Ragnarok Online.

Firstly:
http://ratemyserver.net/
Best RO database out there. Now they won't have the gears custom to this server, but those can be found on the forums. (here)

Additionally, even if this is a private server, you can still find VERY useful information on iRO's official site.
http://iro.ragnarokonline.com/game/ragenjoy.asp
Things to take not of there are the card system, elemental system and especially the upgrading system. (You'll want to upgrade your weapon as soon as possible)
->Side note: think of cards as materia from Final Fantasy 7, except you can't remove a card once it's placed in a piece of equipment.

Lastly, for gear... a wonderful thing this server has is when you create your first character, there's an NPC that will give you all the basic gear you will need to get started. Weapon, Guard/Shield, Garment, Body Armor, Foot Gear, and Upper head gear.
You'll have to look for lower and mid head gear on your own (Mr. Smile masks are easy to make though), as well as find yourself some accessories too.

I think all that will get you off to a very good start.

*Raises eyebrow*
Then... explore the forums and check the section "Server Information" or even go to the Main Page and click Custom Stuff.

RE: New Noobie - Avalon_Fates - 12-01-2008

For the love of all that is holy change your Thread Title..Noob is a insulting word that means someone who is horrible, or new at something but doesn't want to admit to the fact and tries to tell everyone else that he is doing it right and they are wrong. They also tend to be rude to others and often say they are experts while all evidence points towards them being a moron.

Should not be confused with Newb, which means a New person or a person who lacks experience or knowledge but is willing to learn.

Teh more you know.

Fates out.

No, you fail.

Fixed it for you :D

Newb =/= Noob
Newbies should learn, Noobs should die!

Kohaku +1

RE: New Noobie - Kretzer - 12-01-2008

Again, you both fail.

I corrected "Newb" as "Newbie"

Newb sounds exactly the same as noob and its used the same way.

Newbie =/= Newb, Noob, Nub, n00b, Kohaku, Nab, Fates
