Windowed Mode Wonkyness - Fruityla - 02-18-2009 If I play in Windowed Mode and go to a map with ANYTHING moving on it (NBe it a monster or another player), I'll suddenly start getting a bunch of flashing triangles on my screen. Everything except the map itself and my character will be messed up and I'll be forced to Alt+F4 out of heRO. >_> Pretty sure that's not supposed to happen. RE: Windowed Mode Wonkyness - Sepharius - 02-18-2009 Could you screenshot it? I run it windowed, and I might be able to help. RE: Windowed Mode Wonkyness - Fruityla - 02-18-2009 It seems the issue occurs only in Yuno ![]() http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v23/Fruity/Screenshots/screenheRO-Server116.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v23/Fruity/Screenshots/screenheRO-Server117.jpg Setup is as follows: 1024 768 X 16 Use 3D Sound 2 Speaker 22k Sound Frequency 16bit Sound Bits 48 Channel Sound Channel Use Lightmap is checked Enable Fog is checked Sprite Detail is set to highest Texture detail is set to highest RE: Windowed Mode Wonkyness - Sepharius - 02-18-2009 Hmmm, all I see in those screenshots is a large square portion where it looks like someone cut it out of the picture. O_o Not really seeing anything about those triangles you were talking about in your first post. I assume this has something to do with your computer (could also be your client), so best thing to do is make sure everything is up to date. Hard to help you with this since I've never encountered it before. >.< RE: Windowed Mode Wonkyness - KohakuSan - 02-18-2009 Your sdata is probably corrupted and therefore the textures inside it. It's a really rare thing to happen though... RE: Windowed Mode Wonkyness - Fruityla - 02-18-2009 This doesn't happen in full screen though. Just windowed O_o and only in Yuno and Geffenia (Or Geffen when the Geffenia warp is opened, not sure since I was instantly warped since my wizard spawned on the warp) Based on that, I'm guessing it's got something to do with the on/off beams of light in those two areas. And regardless of randomly appearing shapes, it's the same sort of screwyness =p RE: Windowed Mode Wonkyness - Galt - 02-19-2009 And here I was thinking that only I used the word "wonky". That seems strange though... I would have expected there to be some sort of messed up colored triangles there (as common with corrupted textures), but it just looks like it just had a square cut out of it... RE: Windowed Mode Wonkyness - Kadar - 02-19-2009 What kind of graphics card and drivers do you have? RE: Windowed Mode Wonkyness - Fruityla - 02-19-2009 Triangle (only saw one on the top of my screen) occurred on wizzie earlier. It was see through (but made the area behind it darker) and didn't show up in the screens I took o_O; As for the graphics card: Mobile Intel® 915GM/GMS, 910GML Express Chipset RE: Windowed Mode Wonkyness - GM-Pandora - 02-19-2009 Weird stuff, show us what you got in setup.exe with a screenshot if you can? Also, try updating the graphic driver maybe. |
