How does @at work - Davey~ - 02-23-2009 11:47 AM

Hi all.

I was just wondering if someone would be kind enough to explain how this feature works. Is it the same as dual clienting? I never even knew this command exsisted.

Also.. does that mean that if 170 players are connected, only about half of this are actually playing, the other half being merchants?

Sorry for being a newb.. /swt

Dave=)

Hey davey its kraze.

There's a few commands to use..

@main bla bla bla -- to main chat
@main off -- to turn it off
@command -- to see commands
@autoloot 50 -- or any number to pick up all drops under that amount.
@mi monstername -- give info on the monster
@whodrops itemname -- who drops what item
@autotrade -- logs off merchant in vend continuing to vend

And more that we don't have (again @command to see them all)

Hope this helps!

Kraze

so, I can vend on my account, and then log off and log in again and play with a character on the same account, and I would be still vending?

And hey Kraze Icon_smile

@at command is not considered as dual clienting.

When you use @at to your vending merchant. The game closes itself. The
merchant attaches to client side.(or at least that what i believe)
Therefore you can play other account or shut down computer and go to sleep.

Edit: You can not play other character in the same account that is autotrading.
If you have sub-accounts that for autotrading. You have to find some methods to transfer items and Zeny. Avoid dual clienting.

so I cannot auto vend and play another char on the same account?

Nope, most people make their vending characters on another account because they want to vend on the one account, and on the other just play like normal. :]

thanks for the info guys.
it seems like a great feature. is there any tips on how to safely transfer items from my normal account to my vend account? As well as moneyz Icon_smile

ask someone you can trust to transfer.

RE: How does @at work - KrazeEKrakker - 02-23-2009 04:09 PM

You would do it like this : (and sorry misunderstood the @at for @ at commands, haha, i use @autotrade not at Icon_razz)

-Log into merchant with vend.
-Setup shop with vend.
-Once shop is situated and all your prices are correct, @autotrade
-You will be logged out.
-You can now log in to a DIFFERENT account.
-Once you log into the same account @autotrading, you will be told the server still recognizes you.
-Put in the password again.
-You will now be able to log in.

And as far as the item/zeny swapping and whatnot, yeah it all comes down to who you can trust.

Oh and there's no limit as far as I know as to how many merchants you can have vending at one time. So let's say you have like 30 or 40 really good items you want to sell for the next week or so until they are all sold, you would make a seperate account and merchant for each one, get level 10 vend, and setup each shop individually, @autotrading at the end, and thus relogging into your 'play' account to continue playing, or simply close the client to shut down the computer or whatever.

I personally just vend when I need to and OCDC/Vend swap my build. But that's only because I have crappy luck with rares and have nothing to sell.. Gotta love living off loot..
