lately there's been a rather huge increase in the number of people vending near npcs since the implement of the no vending near npc rule. whether it is intentional or not, people are being jailed at a much higher rate than previously. since it is read in the rules that you are to be a certain distance away from npcs.
i am sure they're moved once, then jailed for revending next to the npc, however i think it should be a much harsher punishment than just jailing them. move them once or twice, but then ban them, temporarily perhaps, but still it seems way too out of hand, almost as if it is intentional.
just my thoughts.

They do get muted, too.
Honestly, I was thinking the punishment is too harsh for a first offence.
But then, I also find it incredibly silly that we hav the rule in the first place. All because one guy did something once. <<

i don't think it was just one time, i think it was repetitive which is why the rule was established in the first place. before the rule happened i almost always saw a vendor near the warpers and healers in morroc. that vendor wasn't always vending all the time (mostly if the server went down for a bit or if there was maintenance, or something) but it wouldn't be too long before that vendor was back there again. it personally doesn't bother me if the rule is there or not, but i just noticed it a lot lately that people are nearly everyday getting jailed and muted for vending near or next to an npc.

I'm refering to the guy blocking off the NPCs on purpose, not people vending near them. XD

there's previous problems mostly with banker in Pront, and covering the reset shop warp as well (warps are also NPCs guys).
It's not too much to ask to avoid a large object that you can either talk to or walk on. Don't say that you can't see it and didn't know NPCs are there (the whole point of the rule is so that everyone can see the NPCs.)

Why not make a new custom ma for venders and place a custom NPC to warp you in and out.

Because, apparently people want the vendors right where they warp in naturally? XD
Though, the flagpole near the RP tavern is slowly contridicting that.
